Exceptional Customer Service at UNIQLO!

I’ve always loved shopping at UNIQLO for their great selection, quality, and value, but today they truly went above and beyond!

After getting home, I realized that a security tag was left on my purchase. Since I live 1.5 hours away, returning to the store wasn’t a simple option. When I called to ask for suggestions, I never expected what happened next—the store manager offered to personally drive all the way to remove the tag! I was absolutely blown away by this level of customer service.

Beyond this incredible gesture, my shopping experience was already wonderful—the staff at the fitting rooms were friendly and professional, making the visit even more enjoyable.

Shopping at UNIQLO isn’t just about the clothes; it’s about the confidence in knowing they genuinely care about their customers. Highly recommend!!!

Great store! Glad to see this brand in Calgary now. The store is nicely laid out plus lots of seasonal and trendy items. A little busy as they just opened but in the mornings it’s not too bad.

The staff is really friendly and the store is easy to access from the parking lot. Lots of mirrors and shopping baskets as well.

Definitely a place to check out if you’ve never been.

Came here from Winnipeg to check out the Uniqlo inside the CF Chinook Centre. Good experience! We got want we wanted
Hopefully Uniqlo considers expanding into Winnipeg so that we don't need to fly all the way to Calgary just to buy their clothing physically ~

I recently visited the store to return items I had purchased online. Upon arrival, I was immediately informed by someone who appeared to be the store manager that online purchases could not be returned in-store. Despite this, I proceeded to the return counter, where the associate informed me that I could in fact return the items, but the refund would be issued as a store gift card.

Interestingly, the same manager who had previously denied the return option walked by during this interaction, saw the transaction taking place, and casually acknowledged that the return could be processed, completely ignoring the incorrect information she had given me just moments before. This contradiction was confusing and unprofessional.

The situation became even more frustrating when I tried to use the gift card. The item I wanted was not available in-store and had to be ordered online, but I was told the gift card could only be used for in-store purchases. A staff member then suggested placing the order online and choosing the “pay in store” option, assuring me that this would allow the use of the gift card. I followed these instructions, only to be told afterward that the gift card could not be applied using that method.

When I asked how I was expected to use the gift card if the item was only available online, I was advised to place the order for in-store pickup. The employee explained that once I picked up the order, I could return it on the spot and repurchase it using the gift card. However, when I returned to do just that, the manager was at the counter again and flatly refused to process the return, insisting that it could only go back onto a new gift card—directly contradicting what I had been told.

At this point, it felt like a deliberate attempt to make the return process as difficult as possible, leaving me stuck in a cycle of spending without the ability to get my money back. Despite clearly explaining the confusion and misinformation I had been given by multiple employees, the manager offered no apology and continued to repeat that gift card credit was the only option available.

This experience was not only incredibly frustrating but also left me feeling misled and undervalued as a customer. The inconsistent information, lack of accountability, and dismissive attitude of the manager reflect extremely poorly on the store’s customer service and return policy. I will not be shopping with this brand and store again.

3/7/24. Terrible experience here. Was in a time crunch headed out of town, not from Calgary, looking for a specific size of jeans, couldn’t find, but the worker came and approached me, asking what size of jeans I was looking for, she scanned them and said they have a pair in the back, well she comes back 3 minutes later, and gives me the same size that were already on the floor, just with the size tags removed. It’s my own fault for not trying on and not looking closely, but like dang, you went and gave me the size, that was already on the floor!! Probably won’t come back.
