This is the best bang for your buck in the city of Victoria for a gym and workout. I just switched from Thr Vic Athletic Club which was WAY OVERPRICED AND SNOTTY AF. I was paying $175 a month and at the YMCA I pay 50 for a pass and 20 more for access to member area and a steam room and sauna.

Multiple riges for free and so many machines and equipment you can’t use them all.

Save your money and get your ass in shape!

Just a great gym. I was visiting from Sydney and needed something for the 2 weeks I was here. Ended up paying for the month (53.55) as it was a better deal than the 15$ drop in rates. The staff are lovely and there’s 3 big rooms with squat racks, weight lifting platform for o-lifts, machines, and free weights. Also cardio equipment and a stretching room. Highly recommend.

the gym there is really big and they have a great selection for everything, there's lots of different spaces for diffrent kinds of exercises and even an upstairs. Everything is mostly kept pretty clean and overall is a great gym!

Ignore all the other reviews, here’s an honest review by an active consistent 18 year old who goes to the ymca.

Amazing space, has a lot of selections regarding machines and free weights. It does have rush hours but not frequently, there’s 2 floors, one consists of only
machines & free weights, meanwhile the second floor has cardio machines, extra machines and free weights, along with a pose/stretch room, multipurpose indoor court, green room, squash and racquet ball courts on the third floor.

The pricing is great, 35$ for 18 below and 40$ for 18+. Staff is super friendly and engaging and the regular gym goers are nice as well. Overall a great gym .

They could improve some of the machines and replace rusted/overused ones but they all still work.

The reusable wipes to clean equipment are so gross. I’m sorry but they smell terribly and are counterintuitive. I’ve seen people clean their copious amounts of sweat off machines. I’m suppose to pick up the sweaty rag and use it to “clean”? On a positive note the gym is well priced and very large. Staff are incredibly friendly.
