Rushana is literally so kind and SO good at what she does. I've brought many items to her now with various tasks and she does an incredible job every time. She's always got a smile on her face and is happy to help! She's the only person I will be going to from now on to alter my clothing. I trust her so much that I don't even need to try the clothes on when I go and pick them up. They ALWAYS fit perfect. And if it doesn't I know she's willing to fix it. She is worth her weight in gold!

Amazing job. Surpassed my expectations. Added material to a designer dress from a dress smaller to make it longer and converted smaller dress to a blouse. Can’t say enough positive things about the work done. So detailed, a true craftsman!

I can’t recommend Bonavista Alterations more highly! I had a repair needed on a much loved pair of canvas jeans and the repair was done with such care and attention, I really couldn’t have asked for a better job. It was as close to an invisible mend as it’s possible to get on a job where that wasn’t critical, but was much appreciated! And, I just happened to collect them at Halloween and the owner had candy neatly laid out for the kids which she kindly offered to me and my son. Great local community business worth our support!

My new alterations shop for sure!
I brought in a few items in to be repaired (seams coming undone from a pocket and asking for both pockets to be reinforced, hole in a complicated mesh cardigan, and a hole in a delicate long sweater jacket).
The turnaround was very quick and you would NEVER know I had holes in my items. It was amazing! The materials were tricky and had patterns and I thought they wouldn't be 'fixable' but they are as good as new again! The price was very fair and the lady was very nice.
11/10 would recommend.
