Alchemy Training

I’ve had the honour to work with Josh for a little over a year now. To say that he has greatly helped my development as a weightlifter and an overall athlete is an understatement. Josh’s coaching transcends beyond his excellent, personalized programming and in-person training sessions. What truly sets him apart is the effort he invests in understanding each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. Combined with his charismatic demeanour, unwavering passion for his craft, and continuous pursuit of new techniques, elevate him from a coach to a mentor and a friend. His impressive knowledge and massive quads aside, Josh’s vision for creating a strong, united team and community is remarkable. Under his coaching and guidance, I’ve not only advanced in my athletic performance and reached many of my competitive goals but also found a sense of belonging in the community he has built.

I have been going to the gym off and on for the last 20 years, with some relative idea on how to workout muscle groups. Never had a coach/trainer at all. I decided 3 years ago, that having a coach in the fitness industry, would be a good idea.
I signed up for one at my local gym. This is where I met Josh, he became my coach/trainer. We started with all the basic movements, with light weights. I thought I was well versed in training, I was very wrong. Josh is a well educated professional in this field, not only helping with all your goals and aspirations. He will help with nutritional needs as well. The best part of all, he moved his operation to Calgary and I can still train with him remotely in Edmonton.
When it comes to training, we all have to put in maximum effort and dedication, this is where Alchemy Training will help you excel with whatever you desire. As I write this, I’m 41 years young, had leg surgery 2 years ago and Josh helped me recover. Now I’m confidently stronger than I have ever been.

Josh has been an amazing coach through my postpartum journey! I started working out with Josh since August 2023 after I got cleared to workout by my doctor. Not only I feel stronger and fitter even prior to having baby, I also have the energy and strength to play and lift my growing baby. I love the motivation and encouragement Josh provides. Coach Josh has been a fantastic coach. He was able to give me confidence in myself to get under a barbell again after having spine surgery as well as teach me the technical sport of Olympic weightlifting in a very simplistic manner.

He cares about his clients and it’s shown every time he send feedback on workouts or is on the gym floor.
