This guy is the best in surrey. And no I'm not writing because he asked me too. I'm giving my honest opinion. He does what he does best! The man is outstanding at his job. I've been going here for 10 plus years now. And I can't complain. Never rushes my cut. And hates taking my tips. I would highly recommend this barber shop. GO SEE RYAN

Good guy, friendly, and accommodating. The rates are pretty cheap (12.00 for a cut) and the quality for haircuts is much better than any haircut I've received on Vancouver Island. The only downside, if any, is that it's cash only, so be sure to bring cash on hand for the cut.

I went in on a google review hunch. My 4 year old son is deathly afraid of haircuts. I am not sure what the man's name was who helped me. However, he was so kind, sweet and professional as my son was screaming and making it so hard for him to do his work. He wasn't able to finish, which I pushed for as my son was going crazy. However, he didn't charge me because of that yet my sons hair still looks good as is. I would highly recommend this shop.

THUMBS-UP:

1.) The barber (there's only ONE) consistently cut my hair the way I wanted—Every time.
2.) The price.

THUMBS-DOWN:

1.) Constant complaining about the constant flow of customers coming into his shop.
2.) The wait time.
3.) Cleanliness/hygiene is an opportunity for improvement.

The fact of the matter is, word has gotten around about his pricing and his skills and that has resulted in a consistent line-up of customers at his shop. If he chooses not to bring on hired help, then he ought to make more healthy choices to deal with his stress rather than making negative comments and/or showing his detain whenever a new person walks through the door.

I would have gladly continued to seek out his services but his ineffective coping mechanisms coupled with the fact that he dropped his blades on the floor while he was cutting my hair and DIDN'T place them in the BARBICIDE® but instead, BACK IN HIS POCKET made me seek out another barber.

Which is a complete shame because he's really good at what he does and the price he charged was very competitive.
