Lesley is a super fantastic massage therapist! You can tell she knows what she's doing, and knows her anatomy well. Combined with her intuitive nature I felt I got an excellent treatment and I would recommend her to anyone. The space itself is clean and welcoming, with reception being friendly and personable. I had an extremely upsetting experience during my first visit to this clinic, and I feel compelled to warn others, especially those who are pregnant or booking their first appointment.

I booked the introductory massage and clearly noted my pregnancy in the intake form, as required. When I arrived, a therapist named Dallas Nizalik came into the lobby, asked how to pronounce my name, and then publicly scolded me. She told me she doesn’t do prenatal massages and that I should “be more mindful when booking next time.” I had followed all instructions and done nothing wrong. The way she spoke to me was harsh, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I was shocked to be spoken to that way in a wellness setting. I came here to relax, not to be humiliated.

There was no need for Dallas to confront me at all. I had not specifically requested her, and the booking system gave me “any female therapist.” If she doesn’t perform prenatal massages, all that needed to happen was a quiet, behind-the-scenes switch to another available therapist. That would have been the respectful and appropriate approach. Instead, I was made to feel blamed and singled out.

No client should ever be made to feel like a burden or be reprimanded over something that could have easily been handled behind the scenes. If a therapist does not perform certain types of treatments, that is a staffing and scheduling issue and not something to take out on a client.

I let the front desk know I was uncomfortable remaining there after that experience. They were apologetic and reassigned me to Anthonia Odoe, who was kind, professional, and gave a great massage. That portion of the visit was positive, but the damage was already done.

A small but important detail: after the massage, I was offered water in a mouthwash-sized cup. For a clinic promoting wellness, offering proper hydration like bottled water or tea would go a long way. One sip of water is not enough, especially for pregnant clients.

This experience left me anxious and upset. I would not recommend this location unless clients are guaranteed they will not be treated by Dallas Nizalik. I hope the business takes this seriously and sets a higher standard for how people are treated.

Your response is disappointing and completely misses the point of my review. Whether or not Dallas is one of your “highest rated” therapists is irrelevant when her behaviour toward a client is unprofessional and unacceptable.

The issue is not whether Dallas performed the massage - the issue is how she chose to confront me in your public lobby, speak down to me, and make me feel like I had done something wrong. That interaction was humiliating and entirely avoidable. It should have been handled quietly and professionally behind the scenes without ever involving me.

To be clear, I was not “hurting her financially” by stating that I do not want to be booked with someone who made me feel disrespected and publicly embarrassed. That is a fair boundary for any client to make. Shifting the blame to me for “not being treated by her” completely disregards the actual experience I had, and frankly reads as more concerned with defending your staff’s image than with protecting your clients’ wellbeing.

I stand fully by what I wrote. A therapist who lacks the maturity and professionalism to handle a simple scheduling misalignment without shaming a client - especially a pregnant one - is not someone I would recommend to anyone. Your clinic has a responsibility to ensure clients are treated with dignity and care. That standard was not met.

They do not value client relationships. I was aghast at the receptionist and the work model they have here. In short, money hungry. The therapist was nice. But the atmosphere was off and did not feel comfortable. Will not return.
