I would like to express my AMAZING experience with the Ash Creations staff for being so kind and helpful, especially Ravneet who was so patient, understanding and friendly!! I walked in a bit nervous as this is my first time purchasing Traditional Indian wear - though I was fairly knowledgeable in what I was looking for, there are just SO many different style, colours and ways to customize that the staff were very skilled in hounding in on what I was thinking and ran with it due to their great selection of items. I’m so happy with the set that I landed on, I know when I’m looking for another traditional outfit I will definitely go back to see them?

Damini helped me out and she was so kind and patient the whole time. She made the process really easy and fun. The selection was beautiful, and the service was amazing. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for great outfits and friendly staff!

I recently visited Ash Store in Brampton, hoping to find a sherwani for my husband and my autistic son. As a visible minority who has lived in Brampton for nine years, I was deeply disappointed by the way I was treated. Although my ancestors are from India, I was born on a French and English-speaking island and do not speak Hindi or Punjabi.

From the moment I entered, both the owner and the lady working there were negative and dismissive. Every time I inquired about something, the owner would emphasize how expensive it was and acted as if I should already know exactly what I wanted. The difference in how he treated me compared to others in the store was clear. Sadly, I felt so uncomfortable that I had to leave.

I want to be clear that this is not reflective of all Punjabi businesses in Brampton—I have had wonderful experiences and top-notch service at other stores. But it’s a pity that, in a diverse city like Brampton, we still encounter this kind of treatment. I was especially disappointed by how they seemed bothered by my son’s presence, even though he was calm and well-behaved.

While visible minorities may be few in Brampton, I would not recommend this store to anyone who values respectful and inclusive service. Thankfully, Brampton is still home to many kind and welcoming people, but my experience at Ash Store was not one of them.
