The store is clean, but the shelves are empty. The prices are twice as high as usual. The price of a blanket is extremely expensive. Even at Costco, you can buy a bigger, fluffy, beautiful, high-quality blanket for $30, while here, a similar but smaller blanket costs $65. For some reason, it’s called a ‘dollar store,’ but it looks more like a reseller of cheap goods at high prices.

This store is particularly unfriendly toward children. The moment a child walks in, the staff will watch you closely and tell you, ‘Don’t touch that’ or ‘You’re not allowed to touch this one either.’ Their balloon inflation prices are excessively high, and the product quality is poor. I bought a weeding rake, and it broke on the very first day.”

Stopped in today to grab a lightening cable. There’s a closed container near the till with 5 dollar price label on it with many of the same cords as the one I grabbed. Went to pay and she said 10.50. I proceeded to show her the bin and she dug to the bottom and said, this one is 5 dollars. She was talking on the phone and didn’t care to honor the price. A little dissapointing even though it’s only 5 dollars. I’ll stick to dollarama

Everything from the behavior of the staff, the pricing and even the checkout process is extremely sketchy. I was being watched like a hawk coming in and checking out what they had while waiting for an uber ride. Thankfully I didn't buy anything. Stay away. Not worth it.
