If you’re looking for flowers, this store has a surprisingly large selection at all times of the year. It’s also the only location I have found with roses year round, making it great for your special someone’s birthday.

This is the closest grocery store to my house... If you are looking for good prices, this store is not for you. It is more expensive(10%-20%) than Costco or Walmart and sometimes 50%-70% expensive more than FreshCo. Quality of products just slightly above average as well as products selection. In the latest change - on top of re-shoveling all sections , i have noticed an expansion of European and Indian food section and shrinking meats selection. Prices usually stay the same and discounts are minimal (sometimes just 20c) :).

As a former employee visiting as a paying customer, I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated by the store manager during my visit. While I was asking a staff member a product-related question, our conversation was abruptly interrupted by the store manager without any apology or acknowledgment. When I tried to clarify my question with the staff member before leaving, the store manager made a condescending comment implying that I was wasting time and “money,” whatever that means… It was clear from his behaviour that our past working relationship gave him a misplaced sense of entitlement to speak to me in a disrespectful manner, even though I was there purely as a paying customer (no idea how that relates to me wasting company time and money when I’m paying for a product that I was asking the employee about). Regardless of whether I worked there or not, every customer deserves to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism.
Additionally, I witnessed the manager belittling other employees during my visit. His dismissive and sarcastic tone created an uncomfortable atmosphere that no team should have to endure, and no customer should witness. A respectful and supportive environment benefits both staff and customers, and unfortunately, this visit fell far short of that standard on the behalf of the store manager. The other employee I was speaking with before being interrupted was very informative, kind, and helpful!!
I believe it would be beneficial if both Alberta Food Safety (there is an excessive amount of mice in the store) as well as HR began to get involved, as this store has dramatically declined in performance, both for the workers and customers.

This place needs a refresh….. big time. In the past several months, so many items have been out of stock. The food quality is terrible, idk how many times I’ve picked up mouldy fruit, or taken home meat that stank the next day. One time I checked cheese slices that I bought the day before to discover that they were completely green on the underside, my bad for not checking…..I guess.

Two weeks ago I told a staff member that 80% of their berries were mouldy, no reaction. This place is a complete dump these days. I wish there were more options nearby. Happy to drive a little further to get better quality and PRICES. Every time I shop here it feels like I got robbed.

I visited this location to purchase milk and ice cream and proceeded directly to the self-checkout. As I was paying, the staff member with red hair was engaged in a personal conversation with someone nearby and appeared to be distracted.

After completing my purchase, I placed the shopping basket down near her and began to leave. At that point, she stopped me and asked whether I had paid for the items I was holding. It was frustrating to be questioned after I had clearly paid right in front of her.

For future reference, I hope the staff can stay attentive to their surroundings instead of chatting, especially when it results in an uncomfortable and unnecessary interaction for a paying customer.
