I've done 3 beginner women's kickboxing classes so far, and love it! The environment is very welcoming, and being brand new to martial arts I did not feel intimidated at all. Monica's classes are a great workout, and (although I'm new to it, so by no means an expert) seem to be high quality in terms of instruction and class pace. So far each class has been different, with an excellent variety of fitness and technique. I am newly postpartum and feel like the classes are safe but adequately challenging. After one free trial class you can get a monthly membership (with family discounts) or a 10 class pass (which you have 4 months to use), and with a toddler and a newborn at home I appreciate the flexibility. They do have equipment to borrow if you want to, and were very helpful in showing me around and teaching me what to do to get ready.

I was searching for a low pressure, local fitness activity that allowed me to work around my kids, and so happy to have found Warrior Arts!
