I had a great experience at M Hair Salon! Michelle, the owner, is incredibly skilled and attentive. She takes the time to understand what you want and makes sure you leave happy with the results. The salon itself is clean, welcoming, and has a relaxed vibe. You can tell Michelle genuinely cares about her clients. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for quality service and someone who truly knows what they’re doing!

Went here four times out of a two year span. Each time was a pleasant experience. That was until most recently… I made an appointment, showed up on time & didn’t get served until half an hour later. Wasn’t completely satisfied with my haircut either. The lady that cuts hair there, cut my hair really good the first few times. It was most recently, she rushed it & cut it too short. I felt embarrassed leaving the salon. Bad styling too, I had to restyle my hair after myself cuz it looked too flat and weird. I don’t have any future plans to go back to this place. A bad haircut can really ruin you and I got one by going here.

The ladies here are nice but they are not well trained to do regular haircuts for men. I went four times giving them the benefit of the doubt, each time the result was just below average. To me, they don’t seem to know what they are doing. Almost amateurish, one of them. Too young and does not seem to take her job seriously. I tipped anyway, just because this economy sucks for everyone including service businesses :) I won’t go back again and if you are a man who looks for a short haircut, I do not recommend it at all! Look somewhere else.

As a professor at the University of Alberta, I expect professionalism and quality service. Unfortunately, my recent haircut here was the worst I’ve ever experienced.

I booked an appointment but was kept waiting for 93 minutes despite arriving on time. When the stylist finally attended to me, she rushed through the haircut in just 5–6 minutes before briefly attempting to style it with a dryer.

Though I paid a premium price and even gave a good tip, the result was unacceptable. After washing and combing my hair at home, I discovered uneven patches, poor texture, and noticeably mismatched lengths on the left and right sides.

For a basic men’s haircut at premium pricing, this level of service is inexcusable. I cannot recommend this salon to anyone.
