Best really short hair cut I’ve gotten in a long time. You can call ahead to book an appointment or try waiting. Worth the extra few dollars. Love that it’s in my neighbourhood & was able to look spiffy right away for my dinner date next door at Earl’s in the University!

Before going to get a cut I read these reviews and they were very mix’d so I didn’t know what to expect. How ever, I was very pleased leaving the shop. Adam is a beauty and he gave me one of the best hair cuts in recent memory. Next time I’m in the city and I’m due for a hair cut, I’ll definitely consider looking him up! Thanks for the cut!

I've been regularly getting my haircuts at Headz Up for the past few years and I can't go to other places. With Adam's vast years of experience, he can cut your hair exactly how you ask him with expertise while being mindful of time. I've left his barber happy every single time ?

I come to this Barber Shop twice. One is 35$, the other one is 45$. These don’t include tips and I asked for the same hairstyle. He finished his work very fast. No more than 20 minutes. No hair washing.

I don’t blame for his skill. But the price is really confusing to me. I strongly recommend customers to ask for the price in advance.

I wish I were exaggerating when I say that students at a barbershop school have done a better job than what I experienced here. Not only was I disappointed with the haircut, but paying $52 for it honestly felt like a rip-off.

It was frustrating to walk out of the shop, get home, look in the mirror, and immediately decide to fix it myself with my own trimmer. By the end of the night, I was upset—not just because of how my hair looked, but because I paid that much just to end up cutting it myself.

I feel scammed. I thought being close to the university might mean more reasonable pricing, or at least decent quality. I was wrong. The place itself feels bland—nothing special about the vibe, the décor, or even the atmosphere. It felt like a basic barbershop charging premium prices.

I’m extremely dissatisfied. I don’t recommend this place to anyone, and I won’t ever be coming back.
