Ive been going to Evolve Strength Royal Oak for a couple years now and i have nothing but positive things to say. The staff is very personable and makes you feel right at home with great service and conversation. The facility is kept immaculate with a big variety of equipment and the change rooms are very clean. I would recommend anyone to come to this gym. Shout out to Liam, Amaka, and Vanessa.

I’ve been going to this gym for about a year and a half now. It is the best gym i’ve ever been to! The gym is spacious, clean and has a great variety of equipment. I always feel welcomed by the staff and the community is friendly and supportive of one another. All the amenities for wellness to have in one place is so convenient and another great benefit. Great gym, kind owner and employees!! The equipment maintenance are great and so is the cleanliness!!
The only thing me and more than a few members discussed this morning was the need to have their HVAC system checked as it’s hotter and more stuffy inside than outside and also no air conditioning or circulation at all.

I started going to Evolve this February because I felt like it was time to focus on some strength training. As a middle aged woman, I felt like I needed to improve my stability and energy levels. I went to Evolve and was immediately welcomed by their staff. I also started training with Malori. She’s amazing! I followed her from another gym in the city - and I much prefer Evolve. Vanessa, Liam and the staff are all very kind and you can tell, they all love where they work. There are no mirrors, so you don’t feel insecure about what you’re doing when you’re working out. Thank you for “going to the gym” a positive experience for me. I look forward to it the 3x a week that I go! I don’t say, “I need to go to the gym.” I say, “I get to go to the gym.” :—)

In my opinion, it's one of the best gyms in Calgary. Before getting the membership, I tried their free trial and compared it with some other gyms in NW Calgary. This gym has decent number of equipments and I haven't found it super busy even during their busy hours. Front desk guys are friendly and helpful. The gym space, changing room, and washrooms are fairly clean as they do not allow outdoor shoes. Another good thing is that they do not have any hidden/additional costs such as annual fees, enrolment fee, key fob fee, etc. The only downside I felt is that they don't even have a single mirror inside the gym which is a bit weird. Also, it would be great if they add a Standing Calf Raise machine, Preacher Curl machine, and a Seated Row machine. Overall, I am enjoying working out here.
