I have had a love hate relationship with hair extensions, as I have had bad installations done on my head. After searching my options this beautiful salon opened up in St Vital Mall! I scrolled their hair menu to see what they had to offer! I am Caucasian and normally get tape ins or wefts installed. I play sports and am concerned about wefts being pulled out or slipping. They offer a service called three row sew in! This has been the best hair extension method yet! Alexis does all my installs! She is truly so sweet, personable and just amazing all around. I see her every 6 weeks for my installs and they always grow out so amazingly and I’ve never had a single issue. No hair fall out except normal shedding and no tension on my head at all! I highly recommend! ❤️❤️

I have been going to Dark Shugar for a few years! I love the new (not so new) location in St Vital Mall. The store is always clean, the staff are friendly and always willing to chat. Alexis the owner is a genuinely kind and generous person who is always putting her clients needs first. I love how she is bringing the community together. Alexis has been doing the installation of my tape in extensions since I started going to Dark Shugar. I always enjoy my appointmentswith Alexis, she's incredibly gifted and extremely kind and personable! The hair I buy from her store is beautiful, it doesn't shed and I have been able to re-use it up to 5 times. I always feel beautiful when I leave! Keep up the good work you all do at Dark Shugar!
