Bethany is amazing!! I loved her energy and vibe, she was knowledgeable, and I actually felt good about trusting my hair in her hands. This was my first time at this salon with this stylist and let me tell you, she did not disappoint, I absolutely love my hair! I haven’t had a good hair experience in over 15 yrs and she changed that for me yesterday! When other hair salons have asked at the end “Do you want to book your next appointment?” I always say ‘I’ll have to check my schedule and get back to you’ with zero intention on booking any future appointments…well not this time, I’ll totally plan on seeing Bethany again in October! ?

I had an amazing experience at Blue Jemini Hair Studio during my first visit! Huge thanks to Ireland for giving me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, made great suggestions. The atmosphere was welcoming and professional. Highly recommend if you're looking for a stylist who truly knows what they're doing!

The salon is beautiful and so welcoming. I was immediately greeted and offered a beverage. She made me a latte and it was delicious!
Paulina was absolutely amazing. She really took the time to thoroughly listen to what I wanted and explain to me what she would be doing. She taught me so much about my hair. I will 100% be back. Thank you Paulina and staff! ?

I had an amazing color and cut with Tara! She really listened to what I wanted and offered great suggestions. The color turned out great and the cut was exactly what I was hoping for. Tara was super friendly and made the whole experience easy and comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone who really cares about getting your hair just right!

*Update* two months after going back and forth to get my $400 back for the awful appointment and results (pictured below), and having to go spend another 300 to get it fixed, Blue Gemini has ghosted me. I gave them every opportunity as a ‘professional’ Salon, to make this right, they didn’t. I ended up having to dispute it with my bank.
They do not hold themselves accountable for their service or work, when it is not favourable. And they will treat you like garbage if you’re not satisfied. (As you can see as they do not reach out to customers who have had a bad experience but are perfectly happy to reply to others) Please go through their review, and not just the ones they get friends and family to write. Go anywhere else and save the headache

I made an appointment for Thursday with and event on Friday. I do love this place enough to drive an hour both ways to come here. My appt got moved from 4:30 to 5pm, which I was okay with. I didn’t go in asking anything specific, but at the beginning of the appointment I asked to just to start going lighter, and to blend my bangs into the rest of my hair. I gave my stylist free range to do what she thought was best. At 7:50, I was told that due to closing, I would need to come back tomorrow to complete my appointment. Again driving 2 hours total. I ended up leaving the appointment with wet hair, in -25, and no cut. I requested contact from a manager within 10 minutes of leaving the salon and the next day I called to speak with one again. After getting in elsewhere do have my hair completed in the timeframe I needed, and once it was dry, the color looked great, on everything except the front half pf my head, noticeably so, after paying almost 400. I delayed and debating even bothering with a review, but after receiving a call and having a conversation with the manager, I was only given “we were going to offer you a treatment had you come for the haircut” and an “I’m sorry”, as well as explaining to be that she had to get to her second job so they couldn't stay to complete the service.
I reached out directly to another stylist there that I've seen a few times, to see if she could help at least fix the color, and I'd pay again, but was told due to policy, I would have to rebook with the original stylist, which I understand is fair, but I tried to go through all my options.
Overall, so disappointed. I’ve gotten wonderful work done here, the quality of the salon is superb. Just very very disappointed with my last visits results, and how no effort was made to rectify it. Extremely sad with the timing for this to happen falling on such an important day for me.

Update! After 3 weeks of me reaching out via phone and email for a resolution, I have been ghosted by the salon. So I am changing my 3 star to 1. Incredibly unprofessional of a place that’s considered so high end. If you’re not the wife of a famous hockey player, they really don’t care about you.
