I’ve been seeing Ivan at The Cage for a little over two years now, and he’s hands down the best barber I’ve ever had. He’s super detail-oriented, takes real pride in his work, and always gets my cut and beard just right. He’s also really flexible and easy to book with — plus, just a great guy overall.

The shop itself is trendy, clean, and has a great vibe. All the barbers are professional and clearly skilled — you can tell they care about what they do. It’s a good spot for all ages, and they use quality products and equipment.

The Cage is close to Guildford Mall, with easy street parking and even underground spots. There’s a chill little waiting area, lots of barber chairs, and even a wash station. Always a solid experience — highly recommend!

Got a cut from Calvin earlier today, came in with a head full of hair and got BLESSED UP with a clean mid fade buzz.

Atmosphere is nice there’s good music and in this time of year the AC is impeccable, drove out from Coquitlam just for these guys and they never disappoint.

I can’t comment on walk ins but you’ll be happy with an appointment with these guys

Had to try a new spot because my barber is out of town, so I booked an appointment here after hearing some good things. Got my hair, beard and brows done by Ivan and I'm very satisfied with his work and attention to detail. He's easy to talk to and clearly knows what he's doing. Glad I decided to book here with him and will definitely be coming by in the future

I recently got a haircut at The Cage in Surrey Guildford. The cut itself was fair, but I would have appreciated more honesty and communication. The head barber initially told me he couldn’t do the design I wanted and recommended another barber who specializes in artistic custom designs. I appreciated the referral, but after taking on the job, that barber later told me he couldn’t do both sides—only after he had already finished. His response was, *“I tried my best, but if you don’t like it, that’s on you.”*

I feel like that could have been worded better. I get that everyone here is young, and there’s definitely talent in the shop, but I think there’s room to level up in both skill and professionalism. I’d genuinely recommend attending some barber conventions or workshops—it would only help sharpen your craft. I also tried to recommend approaching the design in an easier manner but was stonewalled.. No shade, just constructive feedback.
