T&T Supermarket Harvest Hills Store

Large more upscale Chinese based grocery store with hot food counters. Interesting items that are hit and miss and unique finds. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This T&T supermarket is a busy one in the North end of Calgary close to Country hill area and not far from the YYC airport. Good location with lots of food places nearby.

Lots of Asian food to choose from along with cooked food as well.

Fresh seafood, meats and veggies for most Asian needs. There are lots of frozen goods.

The only thing I found not as good as other places is the checkout areas are way to tight and not a lot of room to line up while other people trying to get through. Definitely can be improved in the future.

All sorts of interesting products and great grocery store sushi. I wish there was staff that could answer questions in English and they do not respond to email inquiries which is disappointing

Who approved it? I ordered ahead of time (1 week). They have plenty of time to make the cake and make it like what they’re advertising yet, I am left with this ugly cake or no cake. They didn’t even try.

I asked if they can fix it, or at least make it less ANGRY looking? Nope. No apologies. She puts two white dots and that’s it.

The thing is this negative review will probably end up no where. Incredibly upsetting.

Update: The icing has a bitter aftertaste to it…

Today my family and I completed our grocery shopping at this store, which included purchasing a watermelon. Unfortunately, after returning to our vehicle, my 5-year-old child accidentally dropped the watermelon in the parking lot. One of your kind employees working outside suggested that we could try checking with customer service regarding the possibility of a replacement. We were fully aware that this was our own accident and had no expectations, but we hoped to use this situation as a teachable moment about responsibility for our child.

When we approached the customer service counter to explain the situation, the staff member there consulted a higher-level manager, a Chinese man. His immediate response to our inquiry was, “Hng, you dropped it, what do you want us to do?” (“哼，自己掉的，你想我们怎么样？”）—delivered with an obnoxious stare and dismissive tone. His body language and attitude were not only unhelpful, but disrespectful and inappropriate when speaking to us.

Even prior to our interaction, we observed him harshly yelling at the customer service staff, demanding that the “杂货部门” (grocery department) report to the counter. His treatment of his coworker was equally troubling and unprofessional.

To be clear, we are not requesting a replacement for the watermelon. What deeply concerns us is the lack of basic respect and courtesy displayed by a representative of your management team—especially when addressing a family with a young child. The experience was both upsetting and unacceptable.
