Stronghold Tattoo

Getting tattoo’d by Ryan at Stronghold was such a great experience. He did such a great job using the references I provided leading up to my appointment with him. His communication was great, and I was blown away when I saw the outline in person! Ryan was a joy to chat with throughout my tattoo appointment & I couldn’t have been more happy with the results. I’m currently saving my pennies to fly out and have Ryan do some large scale pieces on me.

After several years around 25, I decided to get another tattoo. I lost my dog last October and I wanted a tattoo of him to remind me of him everyday. Ryan at Stronghold was recommended by a friend. I reached out to him and received a response within a few days. As tattooing had changed since 1998, I was not sure what to expect. I booked a consult. I cannot tell you how professional and thorough Ryan was walking me through every detail of what I envisioned even offering aspects I had not known. I was so grateful. I booked and decided he was absolutely the right person! While at my appt he walked through all he did showing the stencile which was exactly what I wanted. While doing the tattoo as uncomfortable as it was we chatted and made me feel welcome and safe. I shared my story about my wonderful dog and he listened. After completed in what I thought was very efficient and gratefully quick I saw the finished product and was awestruck. It was everything I wanted. I was so happy! I would definitely recommend Ryan to anyone and also consider another peice of art. THANK YOU RYAN!

I have many tattoos but this was my first time at Stronghold Tattoo. Ryan was amazing. Very professional and an amazing tattooer. I will definitely be getting more tattoos from him. A great experience !!!

This shop is amazing, and I cant recommend it enough. Ryan and his team do great work. Ryan is an amazing American traditional artist, easily one of the best in Canada if not the world. It takes a lot of skill to turn ideas into timeless american traditional designs and Ryan does this nearly everyday. He's also extremely efficent, the tattoos in the pics are a good portion of my calf and took about 3 hours for both of them. It was one of the most honest and fairly priced experiences I've had with an artist. Just bring cash!

I've only been tattooed by Ryan but the other artists there were doing great work as well. There's tons of great flash in the shop if you're looking for inspiration.

I’ve been tattooed regularly for the last 17 years, and had heard good things from my brother about Ryan. I checked out his work and booked in, and had him tattoo my head. It was one of the best tattoo experiences I’ve had. He was professional and welcoming to everyone who walked through the door regardless of what they were after. I couldn’t possibly recommend Ryan and his crew enough.
