Sets On Corydon

I have extremely thick tight curly hair and usually wear it straight. It takes me hours every week to maintain and knew I needed some kind of treatment. I’ve never done anything to my hair before and wanted it smooth and straight and that’s exactly what James gave me. Highly recommend the keratin smoothing treatment and rebonding it was life changing!

I saw Eva in October for a keratin treatment. I’ve waited to make this review as I wanted to give my hair a good few months post treatment to really be sure my results were as long lasting as advertised and OH MY GOODNESS. Literally life changing. I know that sounds dramatic but holy crap! As a long distance runner and ER/flight nurse, I find myself washing my hair quite frequently. Problem with this is that my natural hair is neither curly nor straight but rather a puffy, wavy mess and requires heat styling with every wash day in order to have some sort of control. This lead to lots of wasted time as well as significant heat damage. Simply put, I’ve just never loved my hair.

3 months post-treatment and my hair is smooth, shiny and healthier than I’ve ever experienced. I can blow dry it in 7 minutes (pre-treatment it took easily 30 minutes and then I still had to straighten it) and it is sleek and shiny and pin straight. Alternatively, I can air dry and it’s smooth, shiny and has just a touch of movement that I actually quite like! I LOVE my hair now.

I was apprehensive to do this treatment as I am getting married this coming September and my nightmare would have been to have all my hair fry off. Eva’s knowledge and confidence made me feel so comfortable and I will literally never stop getting this treatment from her. Specifically her. I don’t know that I could ever trust anyone else to do as good a job. She also makes such a calm and comfortable environment and is truly a gem and genuine sweetheart. Eva had the most attention to detail I’ve ever seen, was incredibly kind, and even opened the salon on her day off to accommodate my schedule!

In summary, simply said, I have never recommended anything more in my life.
