Posh Nail Lounge Calgary

I got almond shaped french tips done here (extension with powder). Prices were a bit confusing on the website. Confirmation email for the booking also made it seem like the cost would be a bit cheaper but I knew the type of nails I wanted would be a bit more expensive ($80 pre-tax). If you are not 100% sure about costs then I'd recommend you call them for clarification. The set was nice, a few of the nails were placed upwards so they stick up. Appointment took about 1.5 hrs. Location is convenient as it's 7-11 min walk from train station.

My first time in Calgary I visited Posh Nail Lounge and it was such a top notch experience. It was relaxing and the service was perfect. I am in LOVE with the results.

Found them through Instagram and a friend’s recommendation, so happy with how my nails turned out. The place is clean and so pretty! Will definitely be back ;)

Love this place! First nail salon I tried when I moved to Calgary in January and I’ve been back 3 times now, all the staff are lovely and the nails hold up very well. This time Tira did my nails and she was so sweet and patient doing this beautiful nail art.

I visited this salon for a basic manicure and unfortunately had a very underwhelming experience with the nail technician, Tira. I asked for a simple clean-up, but the results were sloppy—my nails were left uneven, and there was still a lot of dry skin around the edges. I had to repeatedly ask her to remove the dry skin, which should be a standard part of the service.

The manicure was rushed and lacked care. It lasted under 15 minutes, which is far from what you’d expect for even a basic treatment. A manicure typically includes a hand massage and some kind of finishing touch like a clear coat or gloss, but all I got was a dab of cream on my hands—no massage, no coating, and no effort to ask if I wanted one.

Tira seemed more focused on finishing quickly than doing a good job. I’ve attached a picture of my nails right after the appointment to show the quality (or lack thereof) of the service.

Update: There was no coat offered. That is an outright lie. And the the more important thing is the quality of manicure provided which is evident in the pictures attached.
