Plato's Closet Calgary Northeast

Went to this store today, and found lots of good high end stuff with very great price. Brands I got includes 3 lulu lemons, 1 club monaco top, 1 abercrombie and fitch dress, and underarmour hoodie!!! The clothes are all in good conditions, unlike lots other of consignment stores. The place is so well organized and the girls there were so friendly. I had to ask for the fitting rooms three times (since there were so many good stuff and it was so hard for me to choose), and they were so nice about it. Love this store and will be back for sure!

Was at Plato's Closet today and had a minor injury and scraped my finger in one of the hangers. 5 star for Nicole for her excellent customer service; she was very attentive. Gave me a bandaid and even apologized.

Personally i was not really impressed by Platos Closet. It was under the impression its more of a consignment higher end store but id say its a step above value village. Not enough high end goods but the gently used items they do carry are in better care then I expected. Some of the items are marks as regular price (brand new). Ex. I saw a gently used ardenes bomber jacket for 14$. I might as well buy it new as Ardnes is already pretty cheap. Id suggest googling the product before purchasing to see if you would be willing to spend the extra 10$ on an item and get it brand new.
The front counter is not esthetically pleasing but the rest of the store is well kept. Customer service is friendly. Location is a bit hidden but easy to navigate on google maps.

This store is a mess. 35 minutes to get into a change room because they let people have 25 items. The floor is always a mess. Shelves are to packed to shop. Clothing is always stained and if you bring it to attention you get told it's lululemon so that's the price stain or not.
The majority of the girls that work there are so rude it's ridiculous. Does anyone over 20 supervise or the owner ever visit this store? It's absolutely gross

Worst Platos location! I visited this consignment store to sell some clothes and had a very disappointing experience. I brought three bags full of high-quality clothing, including items from Dynamite, Topshop, Babaton, and Zara — all freshly washed, ironed, and some never even worn. Despite this, they only accepted a men’s Zara denim shirt and returned everything else, including two brand-new leather jackets from Zara and Dynamite.

The whole process took about 1.5 hours just for them to select one item out of three full bags. Their reason was that some clothes had stains — which was absolutely not the case, as all items were clean and prepared carefully. To make matters worse, they asked if we wanted to leave the remaining clothes for donation, which felt suspicious — as if they either didn’t properly go through the items or intended to keep them for themselves.

Additionally, we purchased a shirt while there, and it took three staff members and 20 minutes just to complete the transaction. Altogether, we spent over two hours at this store, only to leave frustrated.
Overall, this visit was a complete waste of time.

Ps:- out of the 14 items that they just wanted us to donate to them as according to their manager they all had stains on them ( even though most of them were brand new) , the Sw location took 10 and payed us $40 for it. So , now I know why this NE location has empty racks and the lowest rating as compared to all the other locations ?
