Extraordinary place to take a moment from touring the area and spend time in Happy’s barber chair. Phenomenal cut at a reasonable price and Happy will make you feel like you’ve known him for 10 years +. The area is quaint with great eateries and shops but the vibe at Oak Bay Barber Shoppe is old friends catching up on the goings on of the world!!!

The best Barber shoppe in town! I went on a recommendation and I'm glad I did. Enter the shop and immediately felt like a regular, chatting with gentlemen who have been going for years. The barbers Happy and Tim have created an amazing atmosphere in the shop, history and stories cover the walls. Tim helped me find a new cut that is completely my own, even advising how I can style my beard in the future. With the best quality and best price I have come across, I will definitely come back for my future cuts!

A friend of mine recommended this place and I am glad he did! So far I only met Tim (who cut my hair and a my son's hair a few times), he's a super nice guy and he knows what he's doing. It's almost like going for a chat with a friend, who happens to be great at cutting hair. A walking distance from home doesn't hurt either but there's a lot of parking, if needed.

The place is good and has a very local feel to it. I went here for the first time and Tim welcomed me to the shop! I gave 4 stars because, I felt that Tim cut my hair too fast within 8 to 10 minutes (I had very long hair & went very short). Though it is one thing to be fast, I feel like cutting that quick is not doing the job properly, but I guess he is a professional and has a lot of practice which built his speed over the years! I'd still love to go here, but I wish they take a bit more time to cut and start including SHAMPOO with haircuts soon! ?‍♂️
