Northern Hills Sport Physiotherapy

I had been struggling with persistent calf muscle issues during long runs, and thankfully, I found Robert at Northern Hills Sport Physiotherapy. He quickly identified the problem and helped me recover through targeted treatment and care. What stood out most was how he took the time to teach me effective exercises to strengthen my muscles, so I don’t run into the same issues again. I was doubting that I will be able to finish my Half Marathon at Calgary Marathon, but his treatment helped me achieve my Goal. Highly recommend Robert if you’re looking for someone knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely committed to your recovery.

Robert is an amazing physiotherapist. He has helped me on the path to walking properly after a tibial plateau fracture. He is very knowledgeable, supportive, and gives great advice to help with recovery. Northern hills sport physiotherapy has the friendliest staff, They make you feel at home and welcome. I'm thankful to them all for the support on my journey to recovery. Highly recommended!

Robert has helped me recover from a knee injury, I am now able to walk pain and run pain free again. He was very knowledgeable and between the different modalities he used plus the prescribed stretching and exercises I am set to enjoy an active vacation.Thank you very much.

Olivia is the best.

Have tried a few other therapists for deep tissue work but haven't found anyone that compares to Olivia's skill. Have had great progress with treating Tendentious and shoulder pain.

Please be aware that this location does not bill AHC directly for services covered-they only bill privately. Certain procedures are covered by AHC, one of which I was a patient for, and wasn’t informed until my private insurance had been maxed out. Clients should be made aware that even though they are eligible for AHC services elsewhere, those services are not provided here.

I did not go to the website (where it is apparently listed), I chose solely based on the reviews-which is why I am leaving this one here to alleviate the risk of other people making the same mistake I did.

The services were good, which is why I’m giving them more than one star, but they aren’t helpful with their billing practices.

Edited to add: Although I don’t wish to go back and forth in an app, the assertion that conversations are a “habit”, should have been provided to me, and when I asked for some clarity from the staff and a call back about it, a week went by and nothing was done, no contact made, I had to phone back in to have someone take the time to go through my situation. I should have clarified where the billing was going, and I do take ownership of that-but to say services are typically provided, and were not for me, is disingenuous. Additionally, to call repeatedly (5 times in a 30 minute span) to ask if there was something that could be worked out together, when the only concern was that I change my review and nothing in exchange for the client, also demonstrates a disingenuous response.

Again, great services for a healthy recovery, but be aware of the billing.
