Mike is one of those rare trainers who focuses not just on workouts, but on building long-term healthy habits. Even brief conversations with him have been genuinely helpful in between workouts ,He’s great at explaining the why behind everything—from correct exercise form to why eating breakfast actually matters.

What I really liked was his approach to getting started. Instead of pushing too hard, he encourages a realistic routine—like starting with just 30 minutes twice a week and gradually increasing from there. That kind of advice helps make fitness feel achievable.

Mike clearly knows what he’s talking about when it comes to exercise and nutrition. More importantly, he knows how to guide someone to build consistency and confidence in the gym.

I started training with Mike just over a month ago. I was injured skiing in February and had a meniscus root repair done in April. My recovery has been moving along, but became stagnant as I was missing the motivation and confidence I needed to keep improving. Mike met me at the level I was at, and proved to me that I was way stronger than I thought. He pushes me during our sessions and strongly encourages me to keep improving and pushing myself outside the gym. He keeps me accountable, and if I have not completed the homework, he finds out why and if needed will break it down into smaller chunks.

Mike is a very knowledgeable trainer. He really cares about helping people through all aspects of their health journey. I used to dread going to the gym because I was uncomfortable but sessions with him have made going to the gym enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Mike to anyone, especially if you have any pain or injuries that concern you about getting into an exercise program.
