Making Waves Hair Design

I have been coming to Making Waves for a number of years and the owner and her assistant are the best at what the do. I have never had something I have not asked for.
They are friendly, caring and sensitive to the needs of all their clients, this I have seen first hand.
They have been in business a long time and many, many clients are repeat clients who book appointments months ahead of time to get their prime spots!
This is a great place to have your hair done and my referrals are now repeat clients too!

Wonderful environment! Everyone working there is very kind and attentive to the customers. I received a great head massage while they washed my hair; Tracey got my hair cut beautifully and even curled it in the end! Not to mention that my baby was also welcome and very well treated too (he got the best nap of his life while gently rocked by the attendant)!

Tracy always does a stellar job with my hair. She is terrific with colour and always gives me a beautiful cut. She takes plenty of time with my blowout making sure I always walk out happy with smooth hair that lasts for days.

Tracey is totally awesome, she took the time out to go over things with me. Even though she had to leave by 530 pm, she made arrangements to make sure I let feeling better about myself. I can't being to tell her how much I appreciated her getting through what I had previously experienced. Thank you so much!!!!

Do not support these cruel people if you value your dignity and morales. They instantly decided to ostracize me i guess because i'm young. I wanted to bleach blonde my extra long hair- i guess they must of assumed i was some sort of lower species, because they washed my hair in a dirty sink that was full of long black hair and picked it up and worked it all up into my hair.then they flipped my hair over and told me to bend forward while all the water dripped onto the floor for over 3 minutes while she pretended to look for a towel. you could hear hair heavily dripping and the old man at the dryer could only stare in my eyes feeling sorry for me while i implored looking out for assistance that failed to come and they were looking at me from behind the desk and laughing making sure i caught them conjoling with gestures in my direction. MALPRACTICE!!! I was cordial and polite when came in but they treated me worse than trash. It wasn't even busy. She was pulling these disgusting hairs out of my strong beautiful hair. Blocked out the rest of the nightmare. The audacity to charge me $20 shy of $400 for only a simple dye, no style even. This was intentional as i saw her look in the dirty sink and even say it was dirty but still put my hair in so she could collect it all up and mix it all into my hair. I'm a decent person and an intellectual far beyond their reason. how nasty this place truly is, no matter how many reviews they conjure. dont go here who knows who they will decide on who to abuse. maybe your mother or daughter. HORRIBLE.
