Great service, very kind and helpful sales people and there was no pressure to buy. Also, there was such a variety of beautiful dresses that we didn’t see in other stores!! Both of my daughters bought their grad dresses here and loved them!! (Photos taken by @viva.lux)

I took my daughter grad dress shopping here, we went to a couple other stores prior. Lily by Lyla had a great selection and even better staff. Matalyn helped us out during our first visit, not only was she knowledgeable she went way and beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable and picked dresses that suited her style. That day we didn't pick the dress so we came back for round two. Maroslava helped us and she was also fantastic and just as helpful. They both went beyond our exceptions and had amazing suggestions which made the shopping experience feel at ease. Lily and Lyla has amazing selection, and staff which contrasted other stores we looked at before. The store it self was well organized, very clean and well decorated. It didn't feel cluttered like some other places we went dress shopping. We had a great time shopping here, I will recommend it to everyone I know who is looking to pick out a grad dress.

The perfect store to find your perfect look, no matter how unique or difficult to find it may be.

Lily by Lyla was by far the best store I went to for my grad outfit. The organization of the store was perfect, and I knew where to find exactly what I was looking for (and I got to try on bunches of dresses for fun). They had such a wide selection, and a perfect system for how to go through it to find the perfect outfit.

Yaro was consistently helpful when I was trying to look through, telling me if she saw anything I might like, and the first thing she showed me was exactly what I was looking for. She told me which outfits and brands would be most likely to have my size, helping me deduce what the best option would be for me.

As a smaller person, it’s been pretty difficult finding the perfect thing while also making sure it would fit me (and be practical for my budget), but Yaro and Lyla both helped me so much when I was having those difficulties. I got brand and tailor recommendations, and they’ve offered to look into finding and ordering in some options similar to what I wanted and closer to my size (as to minimize the cost of alterations).

I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to go here. I’ve been given such great advice by the workers at the store, and finding the unique outfit I want feels so much less daunting thanks to the lovely people here. If you ever want something different and hard to find, go here. Even if they don’t have it, Lily by Lyla is the perfect first step to figuring out where it can be found.

I wanted to buy local and have now purchased 2 gowns at Lily by Lila’s. However, our experience was marred by very poor organization/communication hiccups at every turn. Firstly, when the dress order arrived, the store apparently sent us a text to our landline to notify us. Though there was no record of their call on my landline or cell phone. 4 weeks later and no further attempts made, I called in to the store and was told the dress had been sitting there for a month.
When my daughter tried her dress on at pickup, it had clearly not been looked at when it arrived, there was an obvious defect/repair required with the back of the dress, which the store offered to repair free of charge. They provided a business card of a seamstress they said would fix the issue and assured us that they would drop the dress off either that night or the next day.

I made an appt with said seamstress for the following Thursday and came from Okotoks with my daughter to marda loop after school for the appt. I had made 2attempts each to confirm with both the seamstress and lily’s to confirm the dress was delivered. 2 hrs before the appt an employee at Lily by Lila’s confirmed with me the dress had gone out and would be there. It was not.

After many phone calls I was given the explanation that Lila took it to a different seamstress and the employee gave an apology over the phone while confirming it was nothing to do with her and offering nothing to make up for the error. I asked multiple times for the owner to call me. She has not. I was texted afterwards saying:

“ Our boss isn’t available to call right now. And I thought that was where the dress was going to go get fixed so I do apologize on my part but I did also mention that I would message you when the dress was fixed and ready for pickup back in our store.”

Please don’t buy your dress at Lily by Lila. It has been a source of embarrassment and regret for me and I suspect you will be much happier elsewhere. The owner still hasn’t dignified my multiple attempts to contact her with a response.

Don’t shop here. Their dresses are overpriced and poor quality. The owner is one of the worst people to deal with and is incredibly rude to not only people shopping but also her staff. There are many other dress places in this city to shop and I highly recommend going elsewhere
