Very welcoming and comfortable space. My whole family has felt comfortable coming here (me F, my husband, and both our kids-f17 &m13).
We haven’t always been able to stick with the same barber—just due to time, not preference-but each of them are professional, they know how to communicate with their clients about what they want, and their prices are very reasonable.

2 visits in a week. Couldn’t be happier. Monday, Haylee touched up the length on my hair. Sunday, Seren braided it. Extremely happy with both results. This has become my new spot for sure. The crew there is so welcoming and friendly to myself and each other. Love the atmosphere and definitely the tunes! Thanks to Seren for rocking with me today and singing to all the good jams. 11/10 recommend the crew at H&G.

Came in for a walk-in today. Wanted to treat myself to some self care in preparation for my house warming and a big trip I’m taking. I wanted to feel extra good about myself! I explained to my barber that I’ve had really bad experiences in the past and my hair just started to grow back in the last 6 months after cancer treatment. I explained that I was pretty easy going but it was really important to me to keep my front chemo curls long and swept to the side. He was a very kind man but he swung me around so I couldn’t see and then when the cut was over he spun me back around and he had cut off almost all my hair. Not a single curl to be found on my head. And left me with tiny straight across micro-bangs! Not at all what we discussed! Im devastated, and it was a hit to my confidence that I really can’t take right now. I’m honestly contemplating shaving my head… I really had faith in this barber shop. I would recommend to anyone queer, or fem presenting unfortunately.
