I’ve always had a wonderful experience here! I love HQ so much, my hairdresser’s name is Grace and she is absolutely wonderful! They treat you so well and always give me exactly what I want, and the products they use are amazing. I highly recommend HQ, and I highly recommend Grace ;)

HIGHLY recommend. My friends come to HQ all the time to get haircuts and I finally tried it for myself and was so impressed. All the staff are super friendly and professional. My hairdresser Houstyn was very patient to work with me to get my bangs exactly right, even though we had to go back and adjust them a few different times during the session. (Bangs are no joke if you mess them up!) I asked for Zooey Deschanel-style bangs and Houstyn absolutely delivered on that. ?

All in all, I'm extremely happy with my haircut AND my total experience at HQ. I'll definitely be coming back often!

Lindsay and Mark! I had the best time experience today with Curtis. I walked in and felt like family, your salon is so welcoming and pampering. Curtis is amazing, I could have sat for hours in his chair. His easy going demeanor, while he shaped my fine, thin hair,into a masterpiece, with menopausal hair loss, its been a struggle. I walked out of there with volume and movement and a smile. I highly recommend Curtis and all the staff , they made me feel so welcome and beautiful.

I got a ladies cut and style today from one of the apprentices and I’m really not impressed with the outcome unfortunately. I would recommend being extremely specific when asking what you want because I did not get what I thought I was asking for. I’m shocked because I’ve read great things about the stylist in the comments.

I said I wanted my curtain bangs to start at my eye level (pointing to the corner of my eye) and they ended up starting just above my eyebrows :( I also said I was growing out a section of hair and wanted layers from my chin down and she ended up blending into my curtain bangs (so I’ve now lost months of growth). I got home and the layers in the front are not at all even and I’ll need to cut them myself to fix it. I’m just really disappointed and even cried a bit because my bridal shower is in two weeks and I was hoping for a nice refresh. I guess it’s my fault for booking an apprentice, but again, I’ve heard good things.

Please have your hairdressers confirm what the client wants, especially when it comes to bangs of any type. And for customers, make sure you’re super clear if you want something specific!

I want to emphasize that this 1 star is for the gel nails I received from Dion. I’m sure HQ has many wonderful services and techs that are worthy of a 5 star review, I’ve just only gotten gel nails here

I went for gel nails in June with Dion, it was my first time in years I’d had my nails done. I showed her this first picture, asked for almond nails, light pink, chrome, with the matching little flowers on a couple nails. This second pic is what I received….. In no world are those considered almond shaped. The flowers are drastically different than what I had asked for. I was too polite and naive at the time to bring it up to her, but to this day it bothers me that I spent $110 on nails that aren’t at all what I asked for. Might I add, she didn’t tell me there would be extra charges for the flowers, I was expecting to spend just over $80 like what was listed on the website. Instead I spent over $110 and left with nails that were not at all what I asked for

She came across as very condescending and like she knew best because “she’s been in the industry for so long” (You think she’d know almond then) Honestly I’m just so disappointed and upset still, nearly a year later, by the service and nails I received from Dion. I can’t afford to spend $110 on nails all the time, this was a gift, and to spend that much and leave with something completely not as expected is just beyond upsetting. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend her

On the other hand, a few months later, I went to see Payton. She was in training at the time but she was fabulous. My set did take 3-4 hours but she was very personable, kind and determined to make sure my nails turned out right. I actually showed her a pic of my previous nails (the ones Dion did) saying “I asked for almond and this is what I got” and she was shocked and told me “yeah that’s definitely not almond at all” I would highly recommend Payton, she was lovely and deserving of a 5 star review
