HER GYMVMT Fitness Club

I signed up mainly because of the childcare. I am confident in the wonderful, caring ladies that run the LittleMvrs room to look after my baby while I workout. The classes are fun and welcoming. I have also recently started personal training with Shelly. I had originally joined the gym for the classes and didn’t think personal training was something I was interested in. However, I cannot speak enough wonderful things about Shelly. She has listened to my goals, and concerns and helped me pick a training program that works well with my goals and budget. I look forward to every workout with her. Thank you so much, Shelly!

I recently joined this gym and I have nothing but good things to say! The environment feels safe and all of the staff are friendly. I have dealt with Saina several times now and she always has a smile on her face and is happy to help! She helped resolve a payment issue for me and dealing with her is always pleasant. Overall, great gym and great staff.

I was nervous about joining a big gym, but everyone here is so welcoming, from the friendly faces when you first walk in, to the coaches and personal trainers, and the other members. It is all about women supporting women. No matter what your fitness level is, they have it covered. There is even a daycare for the little ones while you work out. There is also a variety of classes that can be booked on the app.
I am very happy that I joined.

I am new to this gym, but so far, so good. Everyone is friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful!!! I am looking forward to getting back into shape here. I only took 1 star off because it said no contract when I joined month to month, but I did have to sign papers, and there is a $50 fee to hold the monthly payments. Technically, I am in a contract because I had to sign papers and do need to give notice before quitting the gym, and I was forced to give bank information for auto withdrawal. A true no contract would allow people to pay in advance for the month with no need for bank information. There would also be no need for a membership freeze fee either as payments would be made ahead of time as a person wishes. The wording is wrong. There is 100% a contract! Anytime someone has to sign documents that are binding makes a contract. Other than that advertising issue, the gym looks fantastic and even had a daycare, which is perfect for young moms!!! Nice clean gym.

I was in Calgary for July so I signed up for a bi-weekly membership online to maintain my fitness. It said that with the membership, I get 2 consults with PT and an in-depth body scan, in which the PT (Courtney) did not follow up to confirm the consult appointments.

Also, when I tried to cancel my membership at the end of July as I was going back to Ontario, they mentioned that I was supposed to give a 30-day notice and will be charged until the end of August. This meant that I was supposed to cancel my membership as soon as I sign up, which makes no sense. Also, this was not communicated to me until I tried to cancel so I will be paying $70 for August and they will not allow me to transfer my membership to anyone who would be able to use it.

I was enjoying the facility, but due to poor logistical and communication processes of HER GYMVMT, I will not be promoting this to my community.
