This place is a hidden gem that balances the laid-back charm of a saloon with the cozy comfort of a coffee shop. The coffee is rich and well-crafted, the decor and warm atmosphere tie it all together.

The barbers here are skilled, attentive, and really take their time to understand what you want. Booking was easy, and they run on time, which is a big plus. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to regularly.

Look for Jun! He is a good hairstylist!

Gina is the owner of GN BEAUTY STUDIO BY GINA HAIR. She is from Korea, very warm and friendly. I heard that she has been in Calgary for 15 years. Her new store officially opened on March 1, 2025. Gina enthusiastically introduced me to the first floor, which includes a Salon & Barber, a Skincare shop, and the GN Beauty Studio & Cafe. The second floor seems to offer nail services, but I’m not entirely sure. Before I left, she kindly gave me a $20 OFF discount card for the Salon & Barber. She is truly a wonderful person.
On March 12, I purchased About Me, SOOP Calming, and Aqua Mist at the skincare shop. The staff member, Sunny, passionately introduced the products, explaining that all of them are Korean brands. She also recommended the Reracine Milk Gel Cleanser, explaining that most people usually use a milk cleanser first, followed by a gel cleanser. However, the recommended Reracine product combines both into one cleanser, making it very convenient. Because of this, Sunny highly recommended it. She was very enthusiastic about her work and proudly told me that they are the only distributor for the products sold at GN Beauty Studio. Even though I visited at the end of her shift, she still took the time to answer my questions attentively, which I truly appreciated. She is also a very kind person.
On March 18, I bought a Large Hot Cafe Latte (16 Ounces, 3% milk) at GN Beauty Studio & Cafe. The staff member, Suzy, told me that she is Gina’s daughter. During our conversation, I learned that if I make a purchase at Salon & Barber, I can use the receipt to enjoy 20% off all drinks at Suzy’s café. Later, I also found out that we are both alumni of the University of Calgary—what a coincidence! She completed her undergraduate studies in Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies about five years ago, while I pursued my graduate studies in Geomatics Engineering. Before I left, Suzy kindly gave me a free Buttermilk Saskatoon Muffin to taste. According to her, Saskatoon berries are similar to blueberries but have a slightly sour taste and a darker color. I found the muffin delicious, with a slightly firm crust, while the inside was soft and fluffy. It reminded me of Chinese fermented glutinous rice balls, which I really enjoyed. Before I left, Suzy also gave me a loyalty card for GN Beauty Studio & Cafe. If I make five purchases, I can enjoy 30% off on my 5th drink purchase. The purchase records continue to accumulate, and on my 10th drink purchase, I can get 50% off, which I think is a great deal. Suzy is also a really nice person.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at GN Beauty Studio by Gina Hair and GN Beauty Studio & Cafe. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly, provided excellent service, and actively promoted their products and services. I could feel their passion for their business, which was truly inspiring. I highly recommend visiting this place to enjoy Salon & Barber services, purchase skincare products, try fresh drinks, and indulge in delicious treats.

The cafe's warm and inviting atmosphere is perfectly complemented by the owners, who are incredibly nice and welcoming. I've tried several of their drinks, including the Sparkler, Americano, Latte, and Strawberry Latte. Each beverage was delicious in its own way. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a friendly/modern environment.

GN Beauty Studio has been my go-to spot for haircuts for the past six years, and for good reason—only Gina has the magic touch to make me look sharp and presentable every time! Her team of stylists has consistently delivered amazing results, and it’s exciting to see them grow and thrive.

Their new location is bigger and better, now featuring a cozy K-cosmetic shop and a café. Parking is convenient, with plenty of spaces nearby that you can register inside. Plus, if you book a service and visit the café on the same day, you’ll get 20% off your total café receipt—a great little bonus!

Cute cafe in a salon and Korean beauty shop! Super cool place to hang out, I like this combination and there are plenty of seats. The staff is super nice, had matcha latte which is good, kinda hope for a bigger selection of pastries tho.
