First Nails

I have always had a great experience here for both manicures and pedicures. They always go above and beyond with the pedicure service by providing a relaxing massage. The owner is very friendly. Thanks ladies ?

I have been going to this nail salon for 7 years! Linda the owner is very friendly and helpful. They have good prices and offer waxing as-well. They just did my nails for my wedding last month with crystals. My nails always look beautiful & amazing!

I tried this place for the first time a couple days ago and highly regret it. The price for a pedicure was good ($31+ tip) but the service was not. The woman who did my nails was not very pleasant (did not smile or engage at all) and did a poor job - especially at applying the nail polish.

The nail polish seemed old and too thick leaving streaks. I told her but she kept adding layers and eventually tried to thin it out. Finally she redid my two big toes and it looked “ok,” hut still not good. Nothing to write home about. She messed up one of my small toes and instead of redoing it, just added more layers (3 colour, 1 top coat, 1 more colour and 1 more top coat). Needless to say, that nail polish literally melted and slid off my nail a mere hours later.

I went back and asked her to redo it. I asked her to take the dried parts off and redo it from scratch and she said no because she’d have to do around my cuticles again. Sorry? Makes no sense, but I said whatever because I didn’t want to make a fuss. She added two my layers and a final top coat. It still looked like garbage but I left it.

I was just going to leave it and not write a review because it’s a small business but one day later I noticed my big toe causing me pain. Now on the second day, it is clearly red and infected. I fear she cut too deep and now I’m going to have an ingrown toe nail. I’m also pregnant so this is NOT ideal.

I've gotten pedicures for over 20 years and have never had this happen or encountered such poor service. I regret leaving a tip and I will not return.

Let this be a warning to others.

I wish I could give a negative rating. They literally burned my skin. They only care about money as they only focus on people who come in for manicure and pedicure. Whenever I go, they just rush to complete my eyebrow waxing. I only went since it’s close to my house but this time they burned my skin. I learned my lesson not to go there ever again.

It’s a hit and miss .. depends whom you get your services .. price points are not significantly cheaper .. I’ll rather go somewhere else for a quality service .. I have a worse experience this time .. the lady cut my nail so deep that it start to bleed and nail paint was so poorly done that it doesn’t look like I’ve get it done from salon . Absolutely bummer .
