Collektive Hair Studio

The atmosphere was very welcoming and I'm super happy with my haircut. It's hard to find places that can work well with Asian/thicker hair and every time I've come here it's been a great experience!!

When I was looking for a new hair stylist a little while back, I stumbled upon Collektiv hair studio, and I’m happy I did!
From start to finish, the experience has been great! Communication for setting an appointment is easy, Yuanita sends a reminder the day before and the hair cut is perfect!
Yuanita listens to what I’m looking for, while also being able to make suggestions and recommendations. It’s the perfect balance!

I was looking for a new hair stylist and I live in the west end of Edmonton. I found Collektive was close by and contacted them. The communication was great!

I just had my first cut with Yuanita. I love it! I was not sure if I wanted to cut it shorter, make a plan to grow it out , or what. She had an idea for a cut and sent me a picture on my phone to keep as I really liked it, however my hair would need to be a bit longer.
She suggested a cut for now and explained some challenges with my prior cut and what could be done to mitigate them. She cut my hair,showed me how to use product- yes- this was invaluable as I had been using some totally wrong.

Yuanita is excellent at her craft, very kind and cares about her clients.

I am thrilled with my cut and so pleased I have found a new home to get my hair cut!

Yuanita is amazing and the salon is beautiful. I have a bit of anxiety when changing to new stylists but Yuanita really took the time to understand my hair and even took into consideration what would happen at my next few cuts while I try and grow my hair out a bit.
