Absolutely Nails

Absolutely nails is such a beautiful salon. Before arriving I assumed it was your typical nail salon, but it's so much more. It's a spa and they use the highest quality of products. The selection of nail colour's really impressed me. I also was impressed by how pretty it is there, it's also super clean and all the ladies here are so kind and great at what they do, they truly have expert knowledge and do a wonderful job, making you feel pampered, they don't rush you. I truly felt like really cared about each guest and I had come in with horrible looking broken nails and they gently removed my old ones and put new ones on, I also didn't feel I was there for a super long time like I usually feel at other places. My nails look amazing! ?

I loved my recent pedicure experience! Dawn was fantastic; excellent foot/leg massage, friendly and engaging. My toes look great, my feet & legs feel great, I would definitely return.

These are lovely hardworking new to Canada ladies - but it's hit and miss for quality and skill. Most recent visit - 3rd in a month - so i'm something of a regular - switched from gel/shellac back to regular polish and basically it looks like a child did my hands and feet. Massage and parrafin and exfoliation were fine, but the application is a mess and there's nothing I can do on the saturday night before going away. They promptly called to re-book and make it right - which I appreciate.

I’ve been a loyal customer at this salon for 15 years, but after my most recent experience, I won’t be going back. I called to express my disappointment with my last nail appointment, expecting they’d care about making things right. The owner called me back, offering an earlier appointment with Shayla, which I appreciated. I left work immediately and arrived within five minutes, as agreed.

But when I got there, I was left waiting. Then, I was told that despite calling me in early, they had another customer complaint, so Shayla was dealing with them first. It made me feel like my concerns weren’t a priority—just another dissatisfied customer in a long line.

Once my nails were finally fixed, I was still charged $30 for a color change. If a customer points out flaws, a reputable salon should offer some kind of goodwill gesture, but that didn’t happen.

Beyond that, the lack of empathy was shocking. During my original appointment, I mentioned I had just put my beloved dog down, and my regular tech—who speaks English—completely ignored me. Instead, she whispered to a colleague in another language. When I returned to explain that I was already going through a tough time, she just shrugged and asked what color I wanted.

For a salon that isn’t cheap, I’d expect better service, professionalism, and basic human decency. This experience was the last straw for me. I can no longer recommend this place.

This is a horrible nail salon. The owner lies. We booked for Eight women to come in together and get nails or pedicures or manicures, depending on what each person wanted and we had booked. We told them we wanted them all done at the same time. As half of them were Family from out of town.
They did no more than three of us at a time which left two people waiting for 2 1/2 to 3 hours to get their service and then everyone else was done sitting there watching them. We had a wedding to get ready for the next day, so this was very frustrating. They didn’t apologize For not having the staff that We were promised. What was supposed to be a fun experience as a group was absolutely ridiculous as two people went back to my house. The rest of us were still there and then a couple more left because they were hungry. It was horrible ruined our entire day.!
