Phoebe and Mary were wonderful, the attention to detail was appreciated. They did a great job of exfoliating my husbands heels which were needing extra help. They made us feel comfortable and made good suggestions. Definitely would come back.

Kathy is truly the best—she never lets me down. The first time she did my nails, I wanted red polish but couldn’t decide on a shade. She said, “Wait, I have the perfect color for you,” and she was absolutely right! She went with a hot chili red, and the compliments I got were endless. Every session with her is like therapy—I always leave feeling extra happy. I trust her completely to do her thing, and she’s never disappointed me. No complaints, ever!

I've gone to the Venetian Nails at St Vital Centre a handful of times and loved it. Decided to try the Regent location. Never again!

I had booked a signature mani and signature pedi (the pedi with shellac) for my birthday. Arrived a few minutes early, logged in. Staff didn't seem to know about the appointment. When I told them, they tried to upsell the shellac on the mani, telling me it would take half an hour for the regular polish to dry, ( I had asked the services be done separately as I find it hectic at the same time). The appointment on Fresha stated 1h 25m).
I had grown out my nails so they could be cut squarely, the pedicurist proceeded to cut them down in a curve with not enough to correct.
Once seated, the whole pedicure process felt rushed. Especially upon learning I wasn't going through with the mani.
As for the manicure, I cancelled as i called st vital and booked fo tomorrow there. However, i had shown the aesthetician and uneven nail damaged by a dog bite. I asked if there was a way to repair it temporarily, maybe with gel powder. She said yes. I inquired about the cost, she stated she would include it in her price. She changed her mind when I was adamant about the regular polish.

I was trying to be time efficient, as i had a dinner date at State and Main next door. Next time I'll pay for an Uber and go with the women who have kept me coming back for the services worth the price. The birthday 10% off was a nice gesture, I just spent it in the wrong place it seems.

I was looked after by Jade for my manicure on Thursday evening, and I am very unhappy with my service.

Jade was very sweet and polite, but cut my nails without asking how short I wanted them. I didn’t want them cut at all actually, so right away I was dissatisfied.

I asked for a milky white colour which I showed Jade a picture of from Pinterest. The colour I received is definitely not the milky white resembling the picture I showed.

Because my nails were cut so short without my discretion, I wasn’t able to get the desired shape I had wanted.

At the front counter I had also asked for RUBBER base, with shellac polish. They told me it would be $75 which is more than what I’d normally be charged at a salon for rubber base, but said okay since I was already there.

I did not receive rubber base. I was given just a normal base coat. I paid over $81 for something I had not asked for, or wanted.

I am extremely displeased with the outcome of my appointment.

UPDATE #2. Got offered 20% off next shellac. Even though nails chipped after 3 or 4 days. Due to shift work couldn't make it in time for thier 5 day guarantee. So if your nails chip on day 5 you better get in that day or else you're out of luck drop everything you are doing and go. Went for my 20% off got told half way through my shellac that the price now went up 5$..there goes my 20%. Sort of a joke really. Tam was amazing and super friendly. However, the manager seems to make up rules as they go along. You can get in without appointment at anytime but the customer service leaves alot to be desired.

UPDATE. I wanna like this place because a few people i know have had nothing but wonderful things to say about it. Went back to get another shellac this time worse then before. The people are friendly and everything is clean however huge chip on day 3. Also lady cut my thumb nail crooked and way below the line. It hurts. I paid for it and didn't expect a free one based on previous experience. I did end up emailing after the second time and I have yet to hear a response.

Went for a shellac. The experience is nice. Dry ice in the water and all. The staff was friendly . Everything seemed great. However 4 days after nails already chipping on multiple nails. Super disappointed as we don't all have time to stop what we are doing to go get our nails fixed. I usually see this type of chipping on the 3rd week not the 4th day.
