For a Value Village in this location, I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable a lot of the items are.

I know a lot of chains like this famously hike the prices or present more of a “premium” image for a central location. They do definitely have some pricier items but the majority of the store is what you want in a place like this. More than reasonable.

This is a great spot for thrifting as there are a lot of traffic along Stephen Ave and CT Train Station. 3 floors of thrift goodies. Prices seems a little higher in this location, but so many hidden gems here.

They actually have a pretty decent selection of clothes, but you need some time to really dig for the good stuff. I thought it would mostly be big-name brands, but that’s not the case at all. The smell in the store is a bit off-putting, though I guess that's pretty common in thrift stores. Unfortunately, there’s no fitting room and barely any mirrors, which makes it harder to shop. Plus, some of the clothes feel overpriced, especially considering they were donated. They have a great book selection there.

Found this with a price tag, and was going to buy it and then they told me it’s not for sale, even though it had a tag on it that wasn’t crossed out and was on the shelf after hearing me talk about it to my buddy. Then they scratched out the price and took it back. Also said they don’t sell audio equipment. Why do u have decor of audio equipment as decor for a place that doesn’t even sell it. Huge let down, and worst value village by far.

For background I am a 40 year old teacher and was here looking for something professional to wear on a budget. I was going through the dress clothes on the top floor and was approached by a lady saying she was the manager and security and she started getting in my face and accused me of previously stealing even though this was my first time here as I’m just visiting, I was just really confused. I must have a doppleganger out there or something but didn’t expect this treatment whether that’s the case or not especially since I’d like to think I look decently put together and was just minding my own business. Manager here needs to have some respect for the customers, as that is no way to treat someone. Aside from that I also felt like the prices here seemed higher for same quality stuff for those curious about that. Hopefully they can get new management and turn stuff around.
