I’ve been shopping and selling clothes at Trend for more than a decade. The staff is amazing, the selection is excellent and the prices are good. Highly recommend. PS I also love that they are dog friendly.

I used to shop at the store almost 20 years ago. I don't get out in this area very often. It is not far from my house. Maybe about 10-15 minute drive? It's a cute boutique. It has everything and anything you're looking for, even things you're not even looking for. It is on the very pricey side but it is worth it. The clothing, the jewelry, the shoes, the accessories. Oh it's worth it it has things what you have not seen in years or brand new things what you just must have. It's for any type of fashion. Fun. Weird classic Goth. You name it. It's it's really cool story. It has something for everything even old fashion And like I said, it always has a lot of brand new things in there too. Just things you must have and things you never thought you needed. I love it. I don't think I'll ever stop shopping in the store unless they close, but I don't think that's happening anytime soon. It's been open for many of the years. It is absolutely fantastic to be in and the staff are so polite so kind and more than happy to help you with anything

I have had the privilege of working with the owner of Trend Calgary for the past 13 years. Currently, I am employed at the Calgary location. I want to address some recent comments about the workplace environment, specifically regarding allegations of abuse, as I feel these claims are not only inaccurate but also taken out of context.
There was an isolated situation involving an employee and the owner, where emotions understandably ran high. In any workplace, when passion and emotions are involved, tensions can rise. The employee involved in this situation made statements suggesting they would publicly slander the business unless they were granted a layoff. Ultimately, this employee was let go for failing to meet the expectations of their role.
Unfortunately, since then, this individual has rallied support from others to post negative and misleading reviews. It's disheartening to see the situation take such a turn, especially when it doesn’t accurately reflect the reality of our workplace.
Trend Calgary has been an equal opportunity employer for over 30 years, fostering a safe, supportive environment for both our customers and our team members. It's deeply disappointing when a situation spirals in this way, especially when it doesn’t reflect the values and respect that we uphold in our business.
I can say with confidence that Trend has always been committed to creating a positive and inclusive workplace for everyone. We value each individual, and it's painful to see such misinformation being spread. I will always support local businesses and most importantly, FEMALE led businesses! I always love coming to Trend. Not only do they have great hours that match my schedule, but they are always friendly, they always have a great variety of items to peruse and try on, and best of all? They're DOG FRIENDLY! The owner sometimes brings in her two senior pups, who are so sweet, but you can also bring in your fur babies! That's how you'll get me into your store for sure. Just sayin'. Anyways, come to Trend! You won't be disappointed.

They have some decent items but it is exhausting shopping here because they sort most of their items by colour rather than size. I almost never go into a store looking for a particular colour, but I always know what size I am looking for. I usually leave before looking through everything because it is so tiring. Many of their racks are quite high so it is a lot of time with my arms above my head.
