I had a very positive experience selling to Style Encore recently. Most of my items were accepted and I was walking out with cash in hand in no time. I didn’t buy anything that day, but they have a terrific selection and a wonderful set up to make finding your favorite brands a breeze. Definitely check them out!

After reading previous reviews, I wasn't sure about shopping or selling to this store. It was a bit of a drive for me - but I checked it out anyway.
First of all - the girls working were really sweet and said hello as soon as I walked in. I brought a big box of clothing to sell and it was really straight forward and easy. She said they price the items according to a list they keep in the computer system - so for anyone disappointed, the girl is just doing her job and probably isn't the one who set out the parameters.

I looked around and shopped for 45 minutes while they sorted my clothing. They have a pretty big range of brands. I saw Levis, Aritzia brands, Smash + Tess, and other mainstream design as well as some independent brands from LA. They do have cheaper stuff like Zara and other mall stores. You just have to know where you're shopping/selling to - there are other consignment stores in the city that specialize in high end designers - this is not that store.

Some stores ask you to bring your own hangers, and make appointments for selling. Some are true consignment and only pay you when your item sells. Style Encore gives you cash the same day you drop off which is pretty convenient.

Needless to say, they kept some of my clothing and handed me over a hundred bucks. The items i had left - I dropped off at another consignment store and did the same thing over again.

I gave 4 stars and not 5 because there was only one girl who was able to sort and take my clothes. When other girls came in to drop off she had to accept their items also therefore making my wait longer. However it is a consignment store so having lots of staff is probably a little challenging/expensive.

I'm glad I checked it out and I will go back to sell and shop in the future. Check it out for yourself!

I’ve noticed something concerning and wanted to address it. While I truly love this store and its clothing, I don’t feel comfortable with the placement of a camera above the women’s changing room. Even if it’s just a dummy camera, it’s positioned in a way that looks directly into the room, which feels invasive. I hope this can be reviewed and resolved to ensure a safe and comfortable shopping experience for everyone

NEVER sell to this store it’s a waste of time and the employees are rude and unaware of what they are doing. I brought in a pair of brand new leather Steve Madden boots and they passed while they have all sorts of junk in store. Who wouldn’t buy leather Steve Madden boots? They told me they weren’t in season after having told me they take all seasons all year round. Bull****. I’ve never left the store feeling good, don’t ruin your day by associating with this store.

Went here with my aunt and daughter on Saturday February 1, 2025. Purchased multiple items however as they rang up each item they found two tags that they stated were not to be discounted. They removed the discount sticker and asked if we still wanted the item. The first time we agreed but when it happened a second time we more so frustrated as there’s no scanning code of practice and the items had been marked for clearance. When I expressed this to the staff member she proceeded to explain that sometimes “people switch tags.” I clearly explained to her and other staff within the store that we do not participate in activities like that and declined to buy the second item at regular price based on principle.

I am a registered professional with six years post secondary education, my daughter is a post secondary student having earned multiple awards for leadership and my aunt has five years post secondary education. we are working professionals and have never experienced such disrespect and disregard for professionalism within an establishment and have no plans to return at this time. If this message is read, I would love the opportunity to address my concerns with the owner of the company in hopes that this situation may be avoided for future customers.
