To maintain a fitness program you have to find a coach that motivates you. I’ve been training with Nic for 13 years. I’m continually learning and never bored with the fitness programs he designs for me. My overall strength and balance has improved dramatically as has my bone density. Highly recommend coach Nic Russo. The individualized programs are great and his level of supervision and guidance are unmatched! Whether u r an athlete now, have been in the past, or have never lifted a weight or ever exercised in your life…..Nic can get you on the right path and you will be amazed at how much better you will feel and move in your everyday life!

Best of the best studio in Calgary hands down! I have been working with Nic at Studio Per Noi for a couple of years now and I can say he really knows his stuff,
Truly fun to work with, he is a great listener and very caring, he always motivates me, helps me stay focused, work hard and explains everything in great detail for me to understand everything and to make sure all exercises are done properly. I came back from ACL knee surgery stronger than before.
His approach to strength and conditioning is unique and if anyone wants to feel in shape, become a better person or athlete this is the place to go!

I approached Nic in early March of this year to find out what he was all about at Studio Per Noi. I have been an athlete all of my life, and i had the intention on that first visit of seeking a coach to help guide me through an off-season training program, to push me, and to teach me new ways of training to become better at my sport of hockey.

Nicolas and myself had an instant connection, and I knew he would become my new coach. Over the next 5 months, we moved through a periodized program increasing my athletic ability in different capacities, such as strength, power, speed, agility, endurance and stamina. I could go into much more specific details, but for the purpose of this review, it is sufficient to say that Nicolas possesses an extensive knowledge on human anatomy and physiology, and provided proper programming and exercises to drastically increase my athletic performance.

Nicolas is a strong person, and his coaching is exactly what I was looking for. He will push you, in mind and body, far past your comfort zone. Training with Nic is not an easy-undertaking, but with his compassionate guidance, you will grow stronger. I most certainly did.

After my training with Nic for the offseason was completed, I attended the NHL Officials Exposure Combine in Buffalo, NY, where my performance has opened doors for me in the world of professional hockey officiating. I will be coming back to Nic for my off-season training next spring and summer, as I prepare for the combine once again.

If you are unsure if Nic is the right coach for you, he is a very approachable person, and will go out of his way to meet with you to discuss your goals. If you should decide to be coached by him, make sure to bring a towel, and be prepared for a great ride through the world of Studio Per Noi.

I trained with Nick for a couple of months, he is full of positive energy and his training program is amazing. He did help me recover from my injuries and I finally got back to running. I would recommend Nick anyone who is looking for a personal trainer for fitness goal.

The overall feel of Studio Per Noi is something you will not get from your typical gym. No mirrors, no egos and no congestion. Designed to be a more intimate training studio with a Coach (owner/operator) who coaches from his years of knowledge into bettering all of his clients and athletes alike.

Nicolas is the caring, kind, hard when he needs to be, and will push you to limits where you mind has stopped you before. He also makes the time to listen and talk with his clients.
An investment in Studio Per Noi, is an investment in yourself. Mind, body and spirit.
