I received a wicked tattoo with a lot of sentimental meaning from Dougie. It turned out better than I could have imagined. The lines are so clean and he nailed the shading. He was gentle and lovely company. His work is making me want another tattoo, not sure what I'd get, I just want his work. Go to this studio, it's clean, welcoming and good vibes. ?

Got a piece done by Rose (@inkwithrose) a few days ago and she was amazing! Whole session felt like catching up with an old friend. I've had a couple flashes done by the rest of the team as well and they're all such fun, nice, and talented people. Strike First Tattoo had become my go-to place for tattoos in the valley. Highly recommend checking out the place if you're in town and maybe trying out their gumball machine flash!

My husband & I decided, pretty much on a whim to get matching tattoos while in Banff celebrating a special anniversary in our lives. Our experience at First Strike was beyond! Everyone on the shop was so kind & genuinely happy we were there. Hey got us in quickly as a walk in. Our artists Lia & Rose were just...no words! Efficient, friendly, kind, personable, engaging & incredibly talented! The shop has a really cool vintage vibe & we will definitely be back! We love our new ink!!

We were in vacation in Banff and had planned on getting a tattoo at some point. We ran into a super friendly server at a local brewhouse and he recommended Strike First. He said it's where all the locals go for good art.
We stopped in and talked with Gikken who was at the desk and gave some advice on our choices. Came back the next day and worked with Mac to get the designs right and a quick and easy experience with tattoos. He did a great job and couldn't have been friendlier or done better work!

Would recommend Strike First to anyone. Top notch!
