I look forward to my next appointment every time! Stylist Andrea is super patient with the foils and a pleasure to spend time with. Other staff are friendly and helpful. It's an enjoyable atmosphere, relaxing yet energetic. Yes it costs but people need to be paid in these trying times and you're worth it!!!

Carrie and Andrea are both sweethearts and are awesome at what they do! I've seen Carrie for haircuts and colouring and I've seen Andrea for only a haircut. I trust both of them with my hair needs. Both are extremely friendly, nice, and awesome to talk to! Anytime I asked for hair advice/recommendations both offered great advice/solutions. I highly recommend both. All the other staff at Salon POP are super friendly and professional and are down to earth people. I highly recommend Salon POP.

I've been going here for ages. Everyone is incredibly talented (especially Leticia & Charlene) and friendly. When you walk in they take your coat and offer you a complimentary beverage and cookie. The shop is beautiful & bright, and very well maintained. They have lots of magazines available and are usually right on time.
Every visit starts with a consultation with the stylist to find out what you're hoping the outcome of your visit will be. They are great at finding out exactly what you're looking for. They'll help steer you to a style/cut/colour that works for your aesthetic, hair type, and routine. They keep notes of the exact proportions when they do colour, so it's easy to have your colour matched to your last visit or to tweak it a little.
They are an Aveda salon, so everything smells amazing in there. Hair cuts will get you an aromatherapy scalp massage, and a colour will get you a hair wash with a scalp massage. I've always left feeling refreshed and beautiful.

Did not have a single time that I left this facility and felt good about my hair, kept giving them the benefit of the doubt but they kept doing me dirty. I had cycled through 5 stylists in 4 years and was not once satisfied.
Went for a haircut and asked for layers (Rachel Green inspo pic), left with a literal MULLET. I wore a hat for a year because it was so bad.
As if that wasn't bad enough, I went before my grad for a colour and cut. Had an apt for 4 weeks before my grad, I was canceled on and told the only time they could fit me in was 3 days before my grad but it would have to be with a stylist that was an apprentice. I was told that everything she did would be monitored closely by another stylist and I agreed. I walked in with brown hair, wanted a couple shades lighter, left with black hair. Yeah sure, it didn't look horrible but it was the EXACT opposite of what I had wanted and what me and my stylist had talked about it during my CONSULTATION that I paid for??
These stylists lack comprehension skills and listening skills. They end up just doing what they want and what they think will look best. I do believe that they viewed me as someone they could easily manipulate into spending an extra could hundred dollars as well as just another hair model for their students to practice on.
i do have to give credit, the only positive interaction ive ever had was with the owner when i explained what happened. he was very understanding and accommodating.
