I have just started running and was going to steal a pair of shoes from a friend until my mom insisted I go in to the Running Room in Crowfoot. I walked in and immediately felt overwhelmed by the wall of shoes and wanted to leave, but the incredible staff helped me feel at ease, breaking down what to look for in running shoes, doing an analysis of my feet and gait, provided me with multiple options (with explanation on why those options), and tips on how long to wear them and how to care for the shoes best. They were not pushy and even encouraged me to take some time to leave the store so I could contemplate the options, offering to hold the shoes for a day. Honestly, one of the best retail experiences I have had. My feet feel great on every run so far so their suggestions have paid off. Definitely made a long-term customer out of me.

Went in today and Alex helped me out (I hope I spelled her name right). She was so beyond helpful! Really went above and beyond and helped me with my running journey. Even recommended physio places after I said my knees were hurting. Very knowledgeable. Very kind. Highly recommend this place.

I went to the Running Room to buy some news shoes today. Upon arrival, the gentleman was very kind and greeted us almost immediately. I believe his name was Paul, and was very helpful and knowledgeable. He knew exactly which shoes would meet my needs after evaluating my stride. Overall, great experience and anytime I need new runners I'll surely be back!

Walked into the store and was greeted right away. The store got busy quickly and I was not forgotten about. After an assessment and trying on 3 pairs, I walked out with a very comfortable pair of walking shoes. Will definitely shop at this store for any future purchases.

I went out of my way to go to this store as I understand they do a “gate” analysis. I use orthotics and possibly that’s why it was thought I don’t need analysis? Anyway went 10am in a Sunday. There was only 1 person working..not sure if this was normal? No gate analysis? As I have size 10 orthotics and the left foot sits high in the shoe I went to a 10 1/2.
There is slight movement of the orthotic in the shoe. Anyway the whole point of the review is I expected someone with a bit more knowledge of footwear etc…. Could have just gone to “Sports Check”
