I started attending Rob's yoga classes about two years ago because of lower back and hip issues. I have noticed a difference in my overall flexibility. Rob encourages us to listen to our bodies during the classes. If we experience pain during a pose then we are encouraged to do what we can and to not overdo it. If I have difficulty in doing a pose, then Rob will show me a different way to carry out the pose so that I get the benefit from it. Rob is very knowledgeable and teaches us about yoga and the benefits of yoga. I have benefitted from and would highly recommend Rob's Healthy Aging and New Yoga classes. Thank you, Rob.

I have been doing yoga classes with Rob for 10 years, usually 3 or 4 times a week. I have never done the same class twice. The variety keeps the sessions fresh and interesting with lots of explanations for why we are doing the poses. It is an Iyengar-style class with emphasis on alignment and safety. He doesn't push to make the classes dangerous but pushes to help each of us reach our potential in poses. It is a joy to go to class in such a warm and welcoming environment.

I have only positive things to say about Rob’s classes. He is an amazingly knowledgeable instructor, kind hearted and generous with his encouragement. He also has a great sense of humour. Rob teaches with a strong background in Iyengar yoga, blended with his ongoing study of the science of current research. We are always learning in class, and one of the most important lessons is that you should listen to your own body! Rob’s classes are excellent for all levels. Come and see what I mean!

Robs class has been the best thing I've done for my body in years. As a retired body builder I have body full of past injuries from improper and over training in my youth. His classes have brought awareness to my alignment and function, my breath, let go of ego, and listen to your body Differences are not deficits! If you're looking for yoga with focus on functioning in every day life. Give it a try!
