Everyone that works here is so welcoming and approachable. I had a nose piercing booked with Alyssa and the team here went above and beyond from the moment I made the appointment! I felt so comfortable during the entire process, Alyssa took the time to talk through everything with me making sure I fully understood how to care for my piercing and how the jewelry worked. Finally gave myself my second ear piercing (been promising myself this for over ten years). After reading the reviews I chose Perfect Poke and Alyssa and I am beyond ecstatic with my results and with the entire experience.
I am a “mature” lady and was concerned I might feel out of place - couldn’t be further from the truth - I was made to feel so comfortable upon arrival.
The receptionist was delightful and helped me pick out the perfect earrings.
Alyssa was such a professional and such a sweetheart! She explained everything, made me very comfortable with the process and by the end of my piercing I felt like we were friends! And my new piercing? Absolutely perfect -just what I wanted!!❤️
I’m going to book my first tattoo here in the next few weeks.
The vibe is so friendly and welcoming.

I just wanted to say how amazing this business is. Everyone who works there are so kind and approachable. My daughter had a piercing change booked with Alyssa today. She was so helpful and comforting to my somewhat anxious girl. The appointment could not have gone better. My daughter has had numerous piercings done here and we honestly would not go anywhere else. Truly awesome!!

Sometimes you walk into a business, meet someone and they feel like someone you've known for a lot longer than just the last few minutes. I'd been toying with the idea of getting my ears pierced for a while and finally settled on Proper Poke as my spot and chose Alyssa as my piercer (piercist?). I couldn't have asked for someone better. She was knowledgeable, kind, laid back and fun to chat with. Amazingly welcome to all of my newbie questions and also does a great job at subtly psyching you up so all of your nerves melt away and you leave the shop feeling like a million bucks. The only problem is that now I want more and Alyssa told me (rightfully of course) that I should probably chill out and wait until the current ones heal.

I recently got my piercing done by Alyssa at Proper Poke, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Alyssa was incredibly professional, kind, and made me feel completely at ease from the moment I walked in. She explained every step clearly, maintained excellent hygiene, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process.

What makes this even more special is that I actually found Alyssa through a ChatGPT recommendation and I’m so glad I followed it! She truly exceeded my expectations.

The healing process has been going smoothly, and Alyssa has been super helpful even after the appointment answering my follow-up questions with care and patience. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and their well-being.

If you’re thinking about getting a piercing, I can’t recommend Alyssa enough. She’s amazing at what she does, and you’ll be in the best hands!
