I had an amazing experience at Obsidian! Sofia was absolutely fantastic when it came to communicating what I wanted for my hair and realistically what could be done to make it work. In the end, she made suggestions and we worked together to make a plan, and my hair turned out so much better than expected! Since I had various levels of bleach, colours and virgen hair, it wasn't easy, but I couldn't believe how beautiful my hair looked afterward! Thank you so much Sofia and Obsidian for taking great care of your clients! Highly recommend this salon.

Amazing. Monika is great with my layers. She knows what works for me as an individual and always consults me first to make sure we’re on the same page. Even if she makes a mistake (once with hair color, but I liked it anyways) she is quick to make amends, and offers to make it right. Always feel great after a haircut with her.

I also love what they’ve done with the place (formerly Singleton’s). There’s a comforting atmosphere there.

Eva always does a great job cutting my hair. There is no one else I trust more than her when it comes to my haircuts. What I appreciate most about Eva is her attention to detail and how she ALWAYS makes sure BEFORE SHE CUTS (confirming for both herself and me as her client) that what she's about to cut off is indeed the length of hair I requested be removed. Lastly, I would also like to say how personable Eva is. Without fail, everytime I come in for a cut, she greets me with a big hello making me feel so very welcomed and at ease. This is ONE OF THE BIG REASONS WHY I KEEP RETURNING TO THE SALON AND REQUESTING ONLY HER TO CARE FOR MY HAIR.
