Despite I was not a customer, I would like to appreciate the store. We were visiting from out of Calgary and walking around in Chinook mall on 3/27 around 7pm. My 2 yo daughter suddenly run into the store before we could catch her because she was intrigued with the colorful decorations inside the store. When we caught her and told one of the store associate, he smiled and greeted us, says it's no problem. Then we immediately got out of the store, he smiled again and waved goodbye. We have been in couple LV stores and not all of them are as warm of this associate , so I would like to acknowledge him and this store.

The service here seems to be improving in the last few years. I used to avoid this store like the plague even though I love LV but the service I got ranged from terrible to mediocre. But now there are 1-2 pleasant SAs who are actually nice and helpful (Bafi is awesome). The quality is going downhill though - and SAs will tell you that a crooked handle or zipper gaps or wavy glazing is “normal”. And they definitely sell returned bags. If I’m paying thousands of dollars for a bag it should be pristine when I get it. It’s always very busy in the store sometimes which means long waits.

I went into Louis Vuitton yesterday evening to book an appointment for a repair assessment on my bag. I’ve had it since February, which is when my husband purchased it for me, so not even a year, and there’s already visible wear on one side. The sales associate I spoke to was rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in helping.

He told me I’d need to pay around $450 for a repair but that nothing would be done anyway because it’s just regular wear and tear. It’s highly possible this is a manufacturing defect, but he didn’t even take the time to properly look at it.

In all honesty if you work in luxury customer service. Your job is to cater, period. I came in looking to book an appointment for a proper assessment. The attitude I received was completely unacceptable.

This is exactly why this location has the reviews it does. I will never buy anything from this location again.

I had a very disappointing experience at this store. As a visitor from out of town, I came in looking to purchase a wallet for my husband. The sales associate seemed disinterested from the start. When I asked to see the wallets, she made minimal effort to assist me. After quickly selecting one, I asked if it could be embossed immediately, something she initially said was possible and would only take about 15 minutes.

However, when I agreed to purchase it, she was already holding the payment terminal and told me flatly that they had no additional stock, without even checking. The wallet she presented was visibly scratched and flawed. When I pointed this out, she reiterated, without apology or effort, that it was the only one available. Despite our earlier conversation, she then told me I should just have it embossed in Toronto because she didn’t have time to do it, completely contradicting what she had said minutes before.

The overall experience felt dismissive, and frankly, I was left questioning whether racisim played a role in how I was treated. I’ve never encountered such poor customer service at a high end retailer. I chose to take my business to Burberry instead, where I received excellent service. Based on this experience alone, I would not recommend this store and will not be returning.
