Took my son to get his hair braided. The staff was very nice and the shop was neat, clean and welcoming. I prewashed my son's hair not knowing what to expect but it is a full service salon. Wash, set, style, Braids etc. His very classic cornrows cost $70 I'm glad I did wash his hair though because it possibly could have been more. I was happy my son no longer had an unruly head but I was told by many the price seemed high. Being unfamiliar with the market these days I can honestly say I don't know. So you be the judge on price. Both me and my son enjoyed the experience. And it was a job well done. The style lasted about a month as we really took good care of it day to day for the best bang for my bucks.

First time customer here!!!

I went in for my appointment July 17, 2021. I can't believe I missed this hidden jem. From the time I walked through the door the service has been great.

Upon entry you have to sanitize & get your temperature checked. Everyone wears masks, socially distanced & everything is constantly sanitized (chairs, equipment etc).

I was blessed enough to have Janice (the owner) do my hair. The whole process took two hours (which is great) & it wasn't rushed. Nice ongoing conversations with everyone in the store (thankfully not forced).

When Janice was done...I literally cried with happiness (that's never happened to me before). I was so happy, I couldn't stop looking in the mirror & taking pics lol.

I can now proudly say I will be a customer for life!!! I can't wait for my next trip.

I am always amazed by the professionalism executed by the staff. They really know how to make a lady shine. I love the fact that they also give you the option of purchasing hair from them. It really takes the hassle out of knowing which hair to purchase. Prices are extremely reasonable. I am always happy when I leave the salon!

I got my hair braided here and was really hopeful based on the price ($420) and my previous experience. The braids looked fine for the first week, but that was mostly because a lot of gel was used to keep everything looking slick. Once the gel wore off, I started to see how loose some of the braids actually were. I reached out about the quality and was offered a redo of the front, but never heard back. It’s now been a month, and the style looks way older than it should.

When I brought up my concerns, the conversation was shifted toward the fact that I was late which I understand, but that wasn’t what I was reaching out about. I was speaking about the quality of the work, not the timing. For context, at my very first appointment back in January, I was also about 10–15 minutes late but the stylist actually arrived at 8:30 for an 8:00 appointment. It was freezing cold that morning, and I had taken an Uber to get there. I’m not bringing this up to avoid responsibility, but to show that punctuality hasn’t always been consistent on both ends.

Overall, I’m disappointed not just with how the braids turned out, but with how the situation was handled after I tried to respectfully voice my concerns.
