I just returned from my first visit to this spa, and it was a wonderful experience. I was warmly welcomed by Emerald who also provided my treatment. She was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. To begin, Emerald showed me the room where the treatment would take place. The spa is brand new and absolutely lovely. After giving me a moment to change and situate myself on the table, Emerald placed a lightly weighted jade mask over my eyes, which is used to relieve tension and help with relaxation. She then turned on a steamer and performed a brief sound bath. This was followed by a soothing head massage. Emerald checked in often to ensure she was applying appropriate pressure to meet my needs. She then applied several treatments to my hair, which involved a soothing water ritual and an additional scalp massage. While the hair mask was doing its magic, she gave my shoulders, arms, and hands a deep, relaxing massage, and I could feel the tension melting away. After the treatment, Emerald took me to a vanity room to blow dry my hair. You can choose to style it yourself if you prefer. I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this experience, but I'm thrilled with the outcome. I feel like 20 pounds has been lifted off my shoulders. I will definitely be going back. The spa is conveniently located in central Calgary with plenty of parking nearby. This gets two thumbs up from me!

I’ve amended my review of the treatment I received here, which was the Japanese style head spa. Although there were some hiccups, the manager reached out to me, via phone and email right away to do whatever she could, to rectify the situation. I was happy with the outcome, and appreciated her professionalism.

Appt started 25 mins late. Loud conversations by the lobby can be heard in the treatment room, overpowering the spa music in the background. Expert hair blow-out was non-existent. I wanted to relax and treat myself for mother’s day and that wasn’t it. The lady who did my treatment was nice but inexperienced in my opinion. Hope they improve.

I’ve had the same experience about a month ago as another review. I booked for the $79.99 Monday - Thursday massages promo. When I asked for the invoice, I believe her name to be Emily (Yao Lu) said the invoice for submitting to insurance is an additional $42. I was shocked but ultimately accepted. When I asked for the bill for insurance, she did not know how to issue it. She insisted I pay the $79.99 out of pocket and come back to pay the extra $42 to get the receipt for insurance. Ultimately I paid the 79.99 and left without any documentation of my transaction. I called back the next day and another girl dealt with the situation, I think she realized how bizarre it was to ask me to come back to pay more for a receipt so ultimately she did email me a receipt for the $79.99 + tax.
