My nails after a month looks the same as say I got them. They did a gel overlay when I said that my nails are brittle. Went on a trip came back doing garden and house work,nails are still intact. Only now about 2 of them are lifting.. great job. Loved my nails.. still can't get over them. For manicure, overlay, nail art, shellac it was 70 CAD... Thanks ladies ?? I will be returning..

Went and did a new acrylic set, pedicure with shellac and half leg wax. Very happy with my mani and pedi. I really enjoyed the leg and foot massage. The pricing was very reasonable. Thanks ladies for taking care of me this afternoon!

I came to this place a little over a week ago to get a fill of my stiletto nails. I have gotten my nails done for many many years in this style so I know a lot about what they should and can look like on my nails. My nails came out so round, bulky, thick and uneven. You can see from the pictures on the top and even the side they are not done well. They look like amateur did them. Also not sharp enough at all for stiletto (I asked for her to make adjustments and she made it seem like I was unreasonable and a pain :(. )
Also they were not made to go down at the cuticle so they look grown out already AND she did no cuticle work at all. I just moved to Legacy and was hoping to find my regular nail salon. This is NOT it.
I also had a meeting to go to after my nail appointment so I accounted for that and since fills take less time than a new set, I knew I’d arrive on time (I made it clear I had an appointment after in the phone before even arriving and again at the location).

When I get there the tech takes it upon herself to remove three more of my nails without my consent claiming they are “lifting” and that I would get hurt. This would extend the appointment time. Also as she was gripping my fingers to remove them I continually said “NO please stop, those are completely fine, I’d like you to just fill those,” over and over and she did not listen. This caused me to get chocked up because it’s hard enough for me to speak up for myself and the fact that she didn’t listen and was going to cause me to potentially be late to my very important meeting, I became overwhelmed and just went mute.

She then looked at me very apathetically and said she would charge me for the nails SHE decided to remove, so the cost of my fill became the same price, if not more, than a new set (she charged $7 extra for each of the 3 nails…. Like wtf?).

Anyways I went quiet and just hoped she would continued quickly so I could leave but she kept saying “are you okay, are you okay?” rudely so I teared up a and wiped my and across my cheek. She then went on to go “ugh, when you calm down let me know so I can continue.” That in itself is so rude and disrespectful. I was shocked by her unkind and quite frankly mean behaviour.

In worry of being even more late, by the way I could not get my nails done at any other time, I told her to please continue and reminded her that I was pressed for time. She proceeded to do my nails while squeezing each finger that she was working on SO hard and twisting my fingers naturally instead of asking me to turn my hand. She also was so rough and hand filed my skin twice, causing bleeding and tenderness on the side of my nails. She would also tap my hand quite hard to signify giving her my other hand instead of using her words (I was not even on my phone the whole time so she could have communicated so much better with me.) Hurting others ESPECIALLY customers, is NEVER okay and can NEVER be justified. My hands were so sore and stinging afterward! What a horror.

All in all, I’m so incredibly disappointed in this experience. I left in tears to my meeting and arrived late which would not have happened had she listen to my request to leave my nails alone. She did not apologize for pushing me to tears, neither did the manager or the other nail tech who saw me in tears say anything. They just looked at me and spoke to each other across the room. I don’t know if it’s because of my race that caused them to treat me this way or they are just like this to everyone (not sure which is worse… probably the racism). Honestly the nails salon is supposed to be a happy reprieve, she made me feel so uncomfortable and sad and I am not pushed to tears often. You know when someone is not kind and just treats people implicitly harshly. I hope this establishment listens to my words and all the other people who have complained and makes serious changes. Do better.
