The owner of this shop is a truly special human being who is an expert in her craft. I am almost exclusively a barber guy, but she is the exception to the rule, whenever I am in Winnipeg, this is the only place I go. I have never been disappointed with a single haircut, and the conversation is some of the best in town. My experiences are generally more straight forward than much of the work done here so my perspective is specific. I have, however, seen much of the work done here by the owner and others that is just spectacular! If you are looking for a place for a haircut, a style, or all of the other stuff that folks like me aren't too keen on, then you should definitely give them a try, especially if you want some of the best color work I have ever seen.

I went to Born for the first time this week and received a haircut from Tanya. She did a fabulous job, I don't think I have ever loved my hair more! I was not entirely sure what I was looking for so I told her I was open to suggestions and I felt like she really took her time to help me figure out what I wanted. I am typically a 1 - 2 haircuts a year type person but I think might change after this experience. Highly recommend!

I always have a great experience at Born! I've been seeing Laine for years and no matter if I want an entire hair make over or just a trim she always takes awesome care of me and my hair! The salon is so beautifully styled and the staff is always warm and welcoming. Being able to book online has always been a huge perk for me and makes it easy to find a time that works with my crazy schedule. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a new stylist check it out. 10/10 everytime! ?

I am not the best at going for haircuts, as I really don't know what I want... Tried Born for the 1st time & the hairdresser I had was simply amazing! She could not have done a better job. With myself just saying I want something fresh & somthing I can style up to go out for business events.
She gave me the best hair style I've had in many years!! Highly recommend coming here, great atmosphere, super staff, can't get any better. On top of all that, didn't burn a hole in my pocket going here. The prices are way more than fair :)
