I tried this salon because of a Groupon I found while on a tight budget. I was fortunate to be booked in with Emmely for a haircut and partial foils. I’ll be honest, I was expecting discount quality. I was absolutely blown away by Emmely’s skills and professionalism. She gave me what I asked for but went above and beyond my expectations! She absolutely nailed the haircut and did an incredible job of blending my greys and softening my roots for a nicer grow out. I will be going back again, and I recommend you do too!

Dakota was amazing! She did a great job tending to my preferences, and made my hair turn out exactly as I wanted it to. She made me feel comfortable, and always made sure to check up on me. I highly recommend!

Had my hair done about a month ago by Emmely and I couldn’t be happier! ? She was super sweet, really listened to what I wanted, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Honestly, it’s the best haircut I’ve had in years! She’s professional, talented, and has such a warm and welcoming vibe. Highly recommend booking with her—you won’t regret it!

I was looking for a new stylist in Sherwood park. Landed here. The stylist who was supposed to do my hair didn’t show up and another stylist did my cut and colour. I asked for blended layers/face framing and noted multiple times I wear my curly hair straight. The stylist curled my hair. I came home and straightened it. This was what I was left with. No lengths on my head are equal, layers are choppy and blunt and truly terrible. Disappointing experience.

Update: Owner reached out a few days after I posted original review and offered to have a master stylist look at my hair. I declined as nothing can be done but cut more hair off. Owner offered a refund for the cut/tip service on Thursday, July 11th and then said it would be processed on Tuesday, July 16th and have still not received it as of Sunday, July 21st.

Update: emailed owner again about refund on July 24th as nothing had been received. No response or refund as of August 2nd.

Update: Still no refund or response from owner on August 13th.

Update August 24th: Still nothing. Speaks to ownership.

Update, March 22nd 2025: Not a word from the salon. No refund, nothing. We love the customer service. Can I at least have my “I feel obligated” tip back? No? Good talk.
